Please pray for me. For some reason today was a difficult one. My mind was filled with an extraordinary number of vivid and bad memories from my past. The truth is many of those memories had been long forgotten. At any rate these memories starting making me doubt God’s Love for me and that just maybe those past sins forgiven. I now know that was a lie designed to distract me from God, His Love, His Mercy, and His Grace. I can’t afford to have the sins of the past catch up with me as I am dealing with the sins of the recent past to deal with. Please ask God to help me to remember that once I’ve been forgiven I have been forgiven. I don’t need to doubt God’s Promises.
With that in mind, please pray for my court appearance tomorrow. I have no idea how it will turn out, or what the purpose of tomorrow’s appearance is for. My attorney simply said we will be requesting a continuance. Even so this legal situation I have managed to get myself into is causing me a lot of stress and worry. I don’t expect God to make it all go away. I would ask though that you ask our Heavenly Father to anoint my attorney with the knowledge and skill to keep me out of jail. While I admit I did wrong, I didn’t commit all of the crimes I am being accused of. My accuser is using deceit and manipulation to make it look like I did things to cover the things he did.
Enough said on that. I just ask that you would pray for all parties involved either directly or indirectly in this case and cause all of us to proceed with an attitude of love, healing, forgiveness, mercy, and leniency. I would also ask that God work especially on my accuser and his family as I would much rather see him repent and turn this entire situation over to God than to have me turn the things I know about over to the authorities and cause him a similar set of stress, worry and turmoil to that which I have been enduring.
I would also ask you pray for a man named Farhan and his family. He is a minister in a predominantly Muslim country and as such, he, his family, and his congregation are constantly faced with varying degrees of persecution. Ask God to provide for their needs, to protect them, and to help them in the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Please pray also for a man that I will call Bill. He is in the midst of a great battle over the sins of the flesh. He says he tries not to sin, but he sins anyway. He seems to fear that God will not help him because his flesh is weak, even though his spirit is willing. I don’t think it matters to Bill if we tell him God still Loves him and wants to help him win this battle. Ask God to touch Bill in a miraculous way and let him know how to win over the flesh.
I would also ask that you pray for the following folks. God knows their needs, He also knows their desires.
