Please pray for me for favor and forgiveness drawing near to God

Please pray for me. I pray in the name of Lord Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me. I do not want to miss out on the promised land like Moses. There are lots of things that I can do better, better the choices that I can make .I’m sure I have disappointed God time and time again I ask that you pray with me that he does not get fed up with me that his mercy and forgiveness are renewed every morning and that he forgives me yet again, and sends his Holy Spirit to gently guide me into the correct and ways of life that is pleasing to him. I want to be good to him and I want him to be good to me. There’s a lot of need in my life financially spiritually emotionally so I pray that he doesn’t forsake me. He doesn’t get fed up with me. That he forgives me and still brings to pass all of the blessings that he had in store for me. I also pray for full recovery of my dog and myself in Jesus name amen.

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for coming humbly before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. We rejoice that you invoked the name of Lord Jesus and asked for the Holy Spirit to guide you, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We hear your heart and your fear that you have disappointed God and that He might get fed up with you and forsake you, and we want to gently correct that fear with the truth of Scripture. God does not grow weary of forgiving His children who come to Him with a repentant heart. His mercies are new every morning. It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. When we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12. We do not have to earn His forgiveness by being good enough, we receive it by grace through faith in Christ, and then out of love and gratitude we learn to walk in ways that are pleasing to Him.

You mentioned Moses missing the promised land, and we understand that concern. Moses disobeyed God at Meribah, yet even then God remained faithful and loving toward him, though there were consequences for disobedience. Under the new covenant we have a greater promise, for we are told let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. You do not need to live in dread that one mistake will cause God to abandon His plans for you. He has promised I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5. And we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

Your desire to make better choices and to be guided gently by the Holy Spirit is itself evidence that God is working in you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8. Your part is to draw near daily through prayer, reading His word, and obedience, and His part is to faithfully guide and renew you. We also hear your practical needs, financially, spiritually, and emotionally, and we know our God cares about every area. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3.

We also lift up your request for full recovery for yourself and for your dog. We know the Lord cares for all His creation and a righteous man respects the life of his animal. Proverbs 12:10, and we ask for His healing touch upon you both.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this dear one who humbly seeks Your favor, Your forgiveness, and Your nearness. Lord, wash them again with the blood of Jesus, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and let them know deeply that Your mercies are new every morning and Your compassion does not fail. Remove any spirit of fear and condemnation that tells them You are fed up with them, and replace it with assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit and gently guide them into the correct and narrow ways of life that are pleasing to You. Give them wisdom to make better choices, strength to turn from what displeases You, and joy in walking in obedience not to earn Your love but because they are already loved. Father, You see every financial, spiritual, and emotional need, and we ask You to provide, to restore, and to bring to pass all the good blessings You have stored up for them according to Your perfect will. Lay Your healing hand upon their body and upon their beloved dog, and bring full recovery as You will. Help them to keep their eyes on Jesus and to finish the race You have set before them, not missing the promised rest You have prepared. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to confess quickly when you stumble, and to trust not in your own goodness but in His goodness toward you. Keep drawing near, for He is already drawing near to you.

We hear how much you want to walk close with God and not miss what He has for you, and how heavy it feels to carry the sense that you have disappointed Him. That desire to be pleasing to Him and to be guided gently by His Spirit is itself a good and honest place to be.

It makes sense you would feel worn down trying to do better in so many areas at once, financially, spiritually and emotionally. God is not fed up with a heart that keeps turning toward Him. His mercy meets us new each morning, and He is patient to lead us one step at a time. Growth often comes not by fixing everything at once, but by bringing one or two choices at a time to Him and asking for His help to walk in a way that pleases Him.

If you are able, a simple next step that helps many is to take a few quiet minutes each morning to tell God plainly where you need His guidance that day, naming one or two specific decisions, and then noticing how He leads. For your health and your dog's recovery we join you in prayer and also encourage you to stay in touch with your doctor and your vet for care alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning. Forgive and cleanse and draw this heart close to You. Send Your Holy Spirit to gently guide each step and choice, and to give wisdom and provision for every need. Bring healing and restoration to them and to their beloved dog according to Your will. Keep them in Your care and let them know they are not forsaken. Amen.

There is forgiveness with God, and that blessed word meets you in the very place of your fear. You write as one who trembles lest the Lord should be fed up with you and forsake you, and I would have you hear what the Scripture declares, that there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared, not that you may despair.

You pray as if you thought God had to be moved to mercy. It is you who need to be moved to accept the mercy. God is generous enough. He delights in mercy, it is His Benjamin, His last born and favored attribute, and He will set you free and load you daily with His benefits if you trust His dear Son. The deed of mercy is a divine deed, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Think of that reason, for mine own sake. It is not for your goodness, but for His great name and for the blood of Christ, the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. And this forgiveness which God has given for Christ's sake is not a momentary pardon only, He continues daily to forgive, for the act of forgiveness is continuous and eternal.

Do not think the Lord grows weary as man does. His mercy is tender mercy, and the God of your mercy goes before you. Before you prayed, mercy was already on the way to meet you. Before you felt fit to receive it, Christ came to you. You could not squeeze out a tear as you wished, yet He accepts the dry bottles that would have had tears if they could. His compassions are new every morning, great is His faithfulness. That you still desire to be guided by the Holy Spirit into ways pleasing to Him, that you still hope in His mercy and fear to offend Him, is itself a sure sign of grace at work in you.

You fear missing the promised land as Moses did. Remember that Moses, though kept from the earthly land for one act of disobedience, was not kept from God. He appeared with Christ in glory. Our entrance into rest does not stand upon our perfect choices, though we ought to make better choices and by grace we shall, but upon the perfect obedience of Jesus Christ. The first thing God's mercy will do for you will be to turn your face in the opposite direction, to make you a new creation with new loves and new hates. Thus is it often with God's people, when they rest most in Christ, they work best and bear fruit unto God. Do not make your hope a false hope that presumes upon mercy while clinging to sin. A sound hope feels its need of mercy, confesses sin, and flies to Christ alone for salvation.

You ask to be good to Him and to know His goodness to you. He asks of you only that you believe on His Son and love Him in return. His tender mercy appeals to you not with hard demands, but with the Father's love and the Son's atoning blood. Come to Him just as you are, and you shall find He has already come to you.

I will pray with you now as you have asked.

O Lord God of tender mercy, look upon this trembling soul who desires to draw near. For Thine own sake, blot out transgressions, cast sins behind Thy back, and remember them no more through the blood of Jesus. Let Thy Holy Spirit gently guide into the correct and holy way, give tenderness of heart, true repentance, and strength to choose what is pleasing to Thee. Thou God of our mercy, go before Thy child in all things, spiritual, emotional and temporal. In Thy providence supply need, give peace to the troubled heart, and sustain faith, and forsake not the work of Thine own hands. We ask also Thy kindness upon the creature Thou hast made, and pray for full recovery for this beloved dog and for its owner, as it shall please Thy wisdom and love. Keep this soul from despair, establish hope firmly on Christ, and bring to pass all that Thy love has purposed, that fear may be turned to holy fear and joy. In the name of the Lord Jesus we ask it, trusting Thy promise that there is forgiveness. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
