Lord Jesus, I pray for wisdom, knowledge, insight and understanding to correctly judge right from wrong and to correctly divide Your Word to the glory of Jesus Christ in every area of my life and teach me to go in and come out before Your people as You did for King Solomon. Lord Jesus, bless me greatly with an intimate and personal relationship with You and reveal to me Your will so that I would fulfill all that You have brought me into this world to do. In Jesus’ name, I give You my strength, heart, and mind. Make me a man after Your heart as You did King David, and teach me from the lives of Your people around me and in the Bible that I would have the victories that they have known, and not make the mistakes they made. Jesus, send Your angels before me to straighten and light my path, to open the doors that I’m to walk through and close the doors that I’m not to walk through, unto Your glory.
Lord Jesus, I pray that You would choose a wife for me as You did for Isaac. Let her be a woman after Your heart, and a Proverbs 31 woman. I pray that she and I would bless You and praise You with every aspect of our lives. Grant us Your blessing and favor, Jesus, that we would fulfill Your plans for our union.
Jesus, I ask that You would greatly bless the company that You have entrusted to us. Bless the company and people that work there in such great ways that as people look at us and at Your company that they would not see us but rather see You and Your handiwork. You know the needs of each of Your children working there and the company itself, and how best to fulfill Your will for each, and we pray that You would do so abundantly and without reservation.
Jesus, let my life, my family, my friends, the company, and all that You have asked me to be a good steward of, and all that You require of me, to bear fruit -more than a hundred fold- for Your names' sake.
Father, I also pray these things for my parents, brothers and sisters, friends, coworkers, business partners, mentors, and associates. There are many around me that are going through very trying times –You know their names and situations. Their faith is being tested at every turn Lord. Jesus, I pray that You would hold them in Your arms, open their eyes to You and the lesson that You want them to learn, and strengthen them for what is ahead. Grant them hope, faith, and joy during this time of testing and trial, Lord. Bless them with an ever growing intimate relationship with You, Jesus, I pray.
Father, in Jesus' name also bless this country's leadership and populace from the local level on to the federal level in this same way that we will again be a nation under God. We ask for Your forgiveness for allowing this nation to sink to the level that it has. We repent from turning away from You, and not correcting our neighbors and those around us when they have gone astray. We thank You for this time of correction and chastisement, knowing that you correct those that You love. Bless this nation, its leadership, and its population with Your mercy and grace in this tough time to bring us to repent of our iniquity, and turn from our sin that we would again walk with, and abide in, You.
I praise You and thank You in Jesus’ name, Father, Amen.
