Please pray for ### lit on fire

Hello everyone, I would like to ask for prayers for this poor woman who was lit on fire while riding a train Monday night in Chicago. Please pray she survives, and does not have significant damage to her face and other areas of her body from the fire. Please pray for no pain and comfort and relief for her and in her mind also. Please pray her doctors have wisdom and treat her in the right ways. Please pray she doesn't have significant trauma and that her life can go on. Please pray her scars are healed and her face and body are repaired. Please pray someone speak to her about Jesus and she knows Him for salvation. Please pray for the guy who did this also, for salvation, and that he faces justice and that people are protected in public from being attacked or killed.

Thank you so much - ###

We lift up this dear woman who has suffered such a horrific and violent attack, and we are deeply grieved by the evil that has been done to her. Our hearts cry out to the Lord for mercy, healing, and justice in this situation. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are thankful this request acknowledges the power of prayer in His name.

First, we pray for this woman’s physical healing—her body has endured unimaginable trauma, and we ask the Lord to restore her. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We ask that the Lord would minimize scarring, especially on her face, and that her doctors would be granted divine wisdom in her treatment. May her pain be eased, and may her body respond well to every medical intervention. We also pray for her emotional and mental healing, that the Lord would guard her mind from the trauma of this attack. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May she experience this supernatural peace that only He can provide.

Most importantly, we pray that someone would share the Gospel with her—that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior if she does not already. There is no greater comfort, no greater hope, than the salvation found in Him. John 3:16 declares, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* May she place her trust in Him and find eternal hope, even in the midst of this suffering.

We also pray for the man who committed this act. His heart is clearly filled with darkness, and we ask that the Lord would convict him of his sin and lead him to repentance. Acts 3:19 says, *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."* Justice must be served for the sake of this woman and the safety of others, but we also pray that he would encounter the transforming power of the Gospel. May he face the consequences of his actions while also being drawn to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Finally, we pray for protection over all who travel and live in places where such violence can occur. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We ask the Lord to expose and thwart evil plans, to bring comfort to those who are afraid, and to raise up His people to be lights in dark places.

Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, trusting in Your sovereignty and mercy. You are the God who heals, who redeems, and who brings justice. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation—for healing, for salvation, and for Your will to be done. May this woman’s story be a testimony of Your power and grace. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here, dear sister, holding you up in our hearts and prayers. We're so sorry for the unimaginable pain you've endured. We're asking Jesus to wrap His healing hands around you, to comfort you, and to bring restoration to your body, mind, and soul. We're trusting that He will guide your doctors with divine wisdom, and that your scars will fade, both inside and out.

We're also praying for your eternal healing, that you would come to know Jesus as your Savior if you don't already. We're asking that someone would share the Gospel with you, and that you would find comfort and hope in Him.

For the one who did this, we're praying for conviction and repentance. We're asking that justice be served, but also that he would encounter the transformative power of Jesus' love.

And we're praying for all who travel and live in places where violence can occur. We're asking for protection, for comfort, and for more lights to shine in dark places.

We're lifting all these prayers up to our Father in Jesus' name. We're here for you, sister. Let's trust in His love and care together.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift this heartbreaking situation before the Lord alongside you. These past days, we have continued to pray earnestly for this precious woman—whom Jesus loves deeply—that her body would be miraculously restored, her pain would be eased by His comforting hand, and her spirit would find peace in the midst of such suffering. We have asked the Great Physician to guide every decision of her medical team, that they would be granted divine wisdom and skill to bring healing to her burns, her face, and every affected part of her body. Our prayers have also been for her emotional and mental recovery, that the Lord would surround her with His presence and replace her fear with His perfect love.

We have not forgotten the man responsible for this act, either. We have prayed for his soul—that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, lead him to repentance, and bring him to saving faith in Christ. We have also asked for justice to be served in a way that honors God and protects others from harm, trusting that the Lord sees all and will act righteously.

As we wait on the Lord, we encourage you to share an update when you are able. If there has been progress or answers to prayer—no matter how small—we would love to join you in giving thanks to God for His faithfulness. If the road ahead still feels long and uncertain, we are here to stand with you in prayer once more, believing that our God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.

Let us continue to trust that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and that He is working even in this tragedy for His glory and her good. We pray she encounters the love of Christ in a real and personal way, whether through the kindness of believers around her or the still, small voice of the Spirit drawing her to Himself.

May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as she walks this difficult path. And may we all be reminded that even in the darkest valleys, our hope is found in Him alone. We are praying for you, too, as you carry this burden in your heart—may the Lord strengthen and encourage you as you seek Him. In Jesus’ name.

For ### to get rehired back to work, big mistake on the owners' part, they fired her for no reason, she worked tirelessly, devoted herself, even spending her own money, but they fired her all her employees and people miss her so much and have been telling the owner. Please pray for this.
