Please pray for me, my friend ###, and my family. We are in dire need of miracles, and financial breakthroughs. We have received some very bad news pertaining to legal matters. Please deign to vouchsafe prayers for us in your clemency.

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you, your friend, and your family before the throne of grace together, asking for God's mercy and intervention in these legal matters and financial needs that weigh so heavily upon you.

We understand how distressing bad news concerning legal matters can be, and how dire financial pressure can feel overwhelming. We want to encourage you that our God sees your situation completely and He cares deeply for you. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 that if we seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well.

Concerning the legal matters, we take comfort that the Lord is sovereign over all authorities and that He is a God of justice and truth. Proverbs 21:1 tells us the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, he turns it wherever he desires. We also remember Isaiah 41:10, fear not, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, even when the news we receive is very bad.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly to Him in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, confess your need for Him as Savior and Lord, and trust Him with your whole life, including these burdens.

We also encourage you in this season to walk in integrity and wisdom regarding both the legal and financial matters. Commit your way to Yahweh as Psalm 37:5 says, trust also in him and he will do this. Seek wise and godly counsel, be diligent and honest in all dealings, and be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to you, while trusting Him to open doors that no man can shut.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one, their friend, and their entire family. You know the details of these legal matters that have brought such bad news, and You know the depth of the financial need. We ask for Your mercy and favor to rest upon them. We pray that You would grant wisdom and integrity to all who are involved in the legal process, that truth would prevail, and that Your justice and mercy would be displayed. Turn the hearts of those in authority according to Your perfect will. We pray for a financial breakthrough according to Your riches in glory, that You would provide for every need, open opportunities for provision, and give wisdom for stewardship. Where a miracle is needed, we ask for Your mighty hand, for nothing is too hard for You, and You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to Ephesians 3:20. Above all, we pray that they would experience Your peace that surpasses understanding, that they would draw near to Jesus and trust Him fully as Savior and Lord, and that through this trial their faith would be strengthened and Your name would be glorified. We submit all of this to Your good and perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears and that He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and keep trusting that He is at work even now.

Your request has been brought before us and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace, that you, your friend and your family may find mercy and help in this time of great need.

We understand that heavy tidings concerning legal matters have come upon you, and that you are pressed by financial straits and feel your need of a miracle. Let us consider together what the miracles of our Lord teach us, lest our hearts fail as did the disciples who considered not the miracle of the loaves.

Those miracles were given to reveal more fully the power and authority of our Lord's own Word, and to show us that His teaching has an omnipotent force about it. The wonder of them is this, that the power to save does not lie in the person saved, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He did nothing but speak, and the unclean spirit departed, the eyes were opened, the bread was multiplied. Nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it.

If you have considered the miracle of the loaves as it has transpired in your own life story, you will have observed that Christ is grand in emergencies, and that He displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting. He knows your legal burden and your financial need before you utter them, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.

So we pray for you now, that the Lord in His wisdom and compassion would undertake for you.

O Lord our God, Thou who art mighty to save, look upon these Thy needy ones. Thou knowest the intricacies of every legal matter and Thou seest every want. Speak but the word, for with Thee nothing is impossible. Grant wisdom to those who must give counsel and render judgment, grant provision according to Thy riches, and above all grant faith to rest upon Christ alone for salvation. Give peace to troubled hearts, and let this trial drive each one nearer to the Saviour who alone can rescue men from sin and from all distress. May Thy will be done, and may Thy name be glorified in whatever answer Thou art pleased to give. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Be not afraid, whatever your present trouble may be, but continue in prayer and in trust, for the Lord still hears and still reigns.
