Please Pray For Hurt Feelings

Tonight I really got my feelings hurt by my child. She is an adult. I am so proud of her. She is very educated, has a great job, a nice fiancé. I feel that I as a mother made sure she was not going to repeat my mistakes. I did not go to college. Tonight she told me all I had going for me was my looks. It is true I spend a lot of time fighting this losing battle. I feel like I have so much more than that going for me. I enjoy spending time with old people who have no help. I feel like I have gotten stronger in my faith and doing what is right. I am afraid I lashed back when she said this to me. I ask for God's forgiveness for doing this. My feelings were just hurt very badly. It's hard to hear from someone you love so much. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
