Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. The Vet thinks she has intestinal cancer. We have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. Please pray that this is NOT cancer and is something that can be treated. ### has quit eating normal food and is having a very hard time drinking water. She is also having bowel problems. Please pray that God will completely heal and give ### a full recovery from this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort she is in and will not allow her to suffer. Please pray that God will help her to start eating normal food and he'll her be able to drink water. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### her medication. Please pray that God will allow her to just eat the treat the meds are in and not fight me or spit it out and that I won't have to pry her mouth open and shove it down her throat. Please pray that God will guide my hands and that I won't hurt ### on accident when picking her up or giving her medication. God is the only one that can help her right now. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious cat in prayer, asking for His divine healing and mercy. The Bible tells us in Psalm 145:9, "The Lord is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works." We know that God cares deeply for all His creation, and we trust in His power to heal and restore.

Father God, we ask You to touch with Your healing hand. We pray against the diagnosis of intestinal cancer and ask that You reveal a treatable condition instead. Your Word says in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We believe in Your power to heal, and we ask that You bring complete restoration to . Please ease her pain and discomfort, and let her feel Your comforting presence.

Lord, we ask that You open ’s appetite and help her to eat and drink normally again. Let her body respond to nourishment so she may regain her strength. We also pray for regular bowel movements, that her body would function as You designed it to. Guide the hands of the veterinarians and specialists, giving them wisdom and clarity as they examine and treat her. May Your peace surround them as they make decisions for her care.

We also lift up your hands, asking that You grant patience, gentleness, and precision as you care for . Help the medication to be administered smoothly, without struggle or stress for either of you. Let her accept the medicine willingly, and may she feel your love and care in every interaction. Protect her from any accidental harm, and fill your heart with peace as you trust in the Lord’s provision.

We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and ask that You move mightily in this situation. Hear the desperate cries of this prayer, and let Your will be done. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the love and companionship that has brought into this life. We ask that You restore her to full health, not just for her sake, but for the joy she brings to those who care for her. May this trial draw us all closer to You, deepening our faith and trust in Your goodness.

The waiting and the not-knowing, while watching ### struggle to eat and drink, is so heavy, and we hear in your words how much you love her and how hard you’re fighting for her. It’s completely understandable to feel desperate and overwhelmed, and you’re not being dramatic. You’re being a devoted caretaker.

We’re praying alongside you for the truth that God’s presence is near even in this tender, anxious space. One thing that often helps in these veterinary visits is to write down your questions tonight so you don’t have to hold them all in your head tomorrow: what options exist, what they’d recommend if it’s not cancer, and how to help her stay comfortable and hydrated if appetite remains a problem. And as you navigate giving her medication, ask the specialist if there's an alternative formulation, a liquid, a transdermal gel, or a different treat-based method, that could spare both of you the stress of prying her mouth open. Sometimes a small adjustment there removes a huge daily struggle.

As you go into tomorrow, remember that the specialist is part of the provision God may use to bring help and relief. You don’t have to figure all this out alone tonight.

Lord Jesus, we lift ### and ### to You right now. Calm ###'s racing heart and give her steady hands and a clear mind for the appointment. Grant the specialist sharp eyes, wisdom, and compassion. We ask for a diagnosis that is treatable, not the cancer they fear, and for a path forward that brings relief. Please ease any pain or discomfort ### feels and open the door for her to eat and drink normally again. And for this daily battle of medication, give ### creativity and gentleness so both she and ### find it simpler and fear-free. Hold them in Your mercy tonight. In Jesus' name, amen.

The cries of your heart are heard. Desperate prayer, even when it reels and staggers, is a prevailing prayer. When you are at your wit's end, and your petitions seem to have no order, cast yourself upon Him. The Great Physician can speak the healing word in the most desperate condition. Do not be too particular about your reasons for praying; only pray.

In pleading for your cat, I bid you imitate Jacob's model prayer. Be argumentative with the Most High, spreading your case before Him. Remind Him that His very leaves are for healing, the least things about Christ are full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. Not one trembling creature is beneath His notice. Fear not, though you feel like a worm; He says, "Fear not, I will help thee." To fear is to dishonor Him. Trust in His promised strength.

There are cases that go not out but by prayer and fasting. This may be a time for unusual continuance in prayer. Set apart special seasons, even with fasting, to bring this burden to the boiling point. The Lord links healing with pardon and with teaching, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The appointment with the specialist is a surgery man feels he must take, but do not let it eclipse the surgery of the Almighty.

Yet I must be plain with you. The Lord does use affliction to draw our eyes from the creature to the Creator. The healing we most need is not only for our beloved animals, but for our own sin-sick souls. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and it is a fearful thing to fall into His hands unhealed. The great ill is a broken heart over sin, and the great healing is in Christ's atoning work. Do you know this healing? Are your own sins forgiven? When Jesus healed the palsied man, He first said, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee." Seek that forgiveness, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God grant that to you who fear His name, the Sun of Righteousness may arise with healing beneath His wings. Your prayer for the creature is a plea upon His compassion, but let it be a shadow of your own soul's cry for the healing that is eternal. God bless you.

The sharpness of your grief reveals how tightly your heart clings to this creature, and this very pain ought to make you examine where your treasure truly lies. Does not the soul of this little animal, as all creation, groan under the weight of corruption? Yet you pour out such desperate pleas for its temporal comfort, while perhaps passing by the eternal needs of your own soul and those of your neighbor. You beg for guidance in giving a pill, yet do you wrestle so earnestly to administer the medicine of almsgiving and prayer to your own spirit?

The love of anything in this world, even an innocent creature, can collect like an evil humor on the eye of the soul, causing a thick cloud of blindness if it displaces the love of God. It is not wrong to feel pity; indeed, it is a beautiful human trait to grieve for the afflicted, even as the prophets grieved. But let this distress drive you not to a frantic grasping at temporal relief, but to a sober watching in prayer. Continue in prayer, yes, but with thanksgiving for all things, for relief and for tribulation, for refreshment and for this very suffering.

For this is the custom of the saints, to give thanks for the common benefits of all. The rock upon which the soul finds secure footing is the will of God, not the fickle torrent of worldly circumstances, whether the health of a cat or any earthly fortune. So pray, but let your chief plea be that the Sun of Righteousness might shine upon your own darkened understanding, that you may receive this trial, whatever its outcome, as a cure for your soul. As long as it is called "To-day," do not despair, nor let your heart be hardened by a perverse demand that God must act according to your bidding.

He is not your debtor because of your urgent cries. Entrust the creature to Him who made it, and pray for yourself, that whether this cup of small suffering passes or remains, you will endure it with such patience and heavenly-mindedness that it becomes for you a crown.

The weight of a word like cancer can feel overwhelming. It has a way of consuming our thoughts, making the illness seem larger and more powerful than anything else. Right now, it is easy to be awed by what those cells might do, sapping strength and choking out life. But I want you to lift your eyes from the power of this sickness to the power of Jesus Christ. What are malignant cells to the Creator of the universe? He is the one who formed your little cat, and He holds all authority over every cell in her body. The power of Jesus dwarfs any diagnosis.

I do not understand why some are healed and others are not. The Scriptures show Jesus healing in many different ways, sometimes with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes gradually, and sometimes from a distance. All healing is divine, whether it comes in an instant or through the slow processes God has built into the body. As you give her the medication, that too can be an instrument of His healing hand. I pray that the Lord would make her receptive to those treats, that she would take them without a struggle, and that your hands would be gentle and guided by His wisdom. I ask Him to spare you from accidentally causing her any harm as you care for her.

Sin has broken this world, and sickness and pain are part of that sorrow. It grieves the heart of God. When Jesus walked the earth, He saw the pain sin brings and He was moved with compassion. He wept. And He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. He has already borne her pain. So bring your desperation to Him honestly. Cry out for relief from her discomfort, for a return of her appetite, for the ability to drink water, and for her bodily functions to be restored to normal. Ask the Great Physician to reveal that this is not cancer at all, but something treatable. Even in the waiting, you can trust that His presence is near and His compassion is real.

Fix your eyes on Jesus, not on the fear. He does not change, and His power has not diminished. May He grant a full recovery, and may He also carry you both in His peace.
