The weight of this situation is clear, and I am praying with you for your cat’s healing. God cares deeply for every creature He has made, and it is right to cry out to Him when your companion is suffering.
You have already fixed your hope where it belongs: in Jesus, who during His earthly ministry healed all manner of sickness and drove out disease. Matthew’s Gospel tells us this was to fulfill what the prophet Isaiah spoke: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Some try to narrow this to spiritual healing only, but the Scripture shows us a very physical reality. The scourging Jesus endured and His death on the cross opened a fountain not only for the forgiveness of sins but also for the restoration of our bodies. So we can ask boldly for His healing power to touch your cat right now, for the cancer to be nothing more than a false alarm, and for her entire system to begin working properly again.
At the same time, we hold this truth with open hands. Even the Apostle Paul pleaded three times for a painful thorn to be taken from him, yet God chose to give him sustaining grace instead of immediate removal. I do not fully understand why some healings come swiftly and others do not, but I know that God’s goodness never wavers. We pray earnestly for a full recovery, and we also trust His perfect wisdom and timing. Keep pouring out your desperate cries; He hears every one.
