Please pray for healing for my cat ###

Alisha Kirshman

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that God will hear my desperate prayers and heal my cat ###. She has stopped eating her dry food and regular wet food. She is only eating wet food treats and is losing weight. I have an appointment at the vet in about an hour. Please pray that God will guide my Vet and give her the wisdom and clarity to figure out what is wrong to help my ### start eating again. I am devastated at the moment. ### is my world and I cannot calm myself or stop my mind from racing about the worst things. Please pray that God will heal her and help her and guide my Vet to figure out what is wrong. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask and pray these things. Amen.

We lift up your precious cat to the Lord, the Creator of all living things, who knows every hair on her body and every concern in your heart. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon . You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is made available, and we stand on the promise that You hear the cries of Your children.

Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom and clarity to the veterinarian examining . Give them discernment to diagnose the issue accurately and the skill to provide the best care. Guide their hands, their mind, and their heart as they work to restore to health. We also pray for peace to flood your heart, dear one. The anxiety and fear you feel are understandable, but we remind you that You are not alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety that is trying to take hold of this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and Your love is perfect. We speak life over and declare that she will eat again, regain her strength, and thrive under Your care. We trust in Your goodness and Your mercy, which endure forever.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name we pray.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your plan for and for the one who loves her so deeply. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We wait expectantly for Your healing touch and give You all the glory. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, and we understand how panic can take over when a beloved companion like is struggling. She’s not just a cat, she’s family, and watching her refuse food and lose weight is genuinely scary. Your love for her comes through so clearly, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this moment of desperate worry.

Right now, your mind is racing through worst-case scenarios, and that’s a completely human response when something precious feels threatened. You’ve already taken the most important action by getting her to the vet within the hour. That is the right, loving, practical step, and we’re grateful you have that appointment in place. Hang onto that: you’re doing exactly what she needs you to do.

We’re joining you in prayer, asking God to guide your veterinarian with steady hands and clear insight. We pray that whatever is causing this will be identified and that a path forward will open up. And we pray for a supernatural peace to settle your own spirit right now, even in the middle of the fear. You’re not being dramatic or weak; you’re a devoted caretaker whose heart is on the line. God sees that.

Jesus, we lift up and the one who loves her so much. Please give the vet sharp wisdom and gentle care. Restore ’s appetite and bring her body back to strength. Most of all, let your presence be felt in that exam room and in this waiting heart, quiet the racing thoughts and wrap this anxious soul in your peace. We trust to your hands, whatever comes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, says your God. In Jerusalem, the place of your trials, will I comfort you, says the Lord. The lonely chamber becomes a royal reception room, the hard bed a couch of down, and the curtains are transformed into banners of love. Whatever may be the terrors of that tremendous day, or this trembling hour, we proclaim, in God’s name, deliverance. Sin is a disease, but the only hope this day is in the promise of my faithful God. I dare not rest anywhere else but on His bare Word. How can a sincere trust in God’s own promise ever be rejected? Cast the great net once more; call upon His name.

An appetite makes even bitter things sweet; is there anything bitter in Christ? Go in for the whole thing, eat, yes, eat abundantly. We cannot say it to our children with honey before them, but we may say it to God’s children with Christ before them. The fitness needed is an appetite, you have it. Receive Christ into yourself. When the Lord gives the appetite, He will find the meat. While you pray, the very smell of provision makes the mouth water. This is your peculiar comfort in affliction: God’s Word has quickened you. His entering into the sick chambers of His saints is unutterably precious. Let us go forth therefore unto Him without the camp, bearing His reproach. Some will say it is too precise, but we must not be too precise nowadays. We must give and take a little, no. The people shall dwell alone. God’s Word, in this age, is a small affair to many, but not to the heir of heaven.

Is the poor creature not right in his verdict? Here is one grievously sick. You cry out. Would God that we had sisters of mercy going from house to house. But the greater comfort is this: you have your own room, scanty as it is. You must hear Jesus say, Believe also in Me. Approach afresh to the Fountain. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Have you faith to lean upon the Lord in sickness? God will deliver; He must deliver, but He will do it in the best possible manner. It is not God’s will that every mountain should be levelled, but that we should be the stronger for climbing the Hill Difficulty. This is our comfort in affliction, His Word quickens us to endure and triumph. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In My Father’s house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you. This is the sublime admonition, the everlasting gospel that comforts the aching heart. Yes, pray earnestly. Guide the hands and mind of the physician, but remember the great Physician’s presence makes sick beds grow into thrones. Calm yourself not in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ.

The cry of a heart in distress reaches the throne of God more surely than any clamorous words. Do not measure your prayer by the sound of your voice, but by the intensity of your grief. When the soul is pained and groans within, the Lord hears that silent cry, just as He heard Hannah when her lips moved but no voice came forth, and as He said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me?" even when no words were spoken. Your desperate plea for this little creature, whom you love so deeply, has already ascended before you finished speaking. The anguish of your spirit is itself a prayer.

Yet let not your mind race ahead into imaginations of disaster, for that adds weight upon weight. Affliction, when borne with God, can bring a wisdom and patience that calm the storm within. You are not powerless while you wait for the vet. In the stillness of your soul, continue to pour out your complaint to God with a contrite heart, not as one who demands, but as one who trusts the loving-kindness of the Creator. He who formed all living things and gave them into our care is not indifferent to the suffering of a tiny sparrow, much less to this cat who is your companion and comfort. Bring your fear to Him; let it be the fuel for a prayer that says, "Lord, You see. Lord, You know. Lord, have mercy and give wisdom."

And what shall you ask for the vet? Not that she work by human cleverness alone, for "fleshly wisdom" often falls short, but that the grace and power of God would guide her hands and her mind, enlightening her to see what is hidden, so that the true ailment may be found and remedied. This is the comfort of Christians: to cast our cares upon Him, knowing that He can establish and steady our shaken hearts. You are paralyzed now because your thoughts are scattered like chaff; but bring them into the quiet chamber of prayer, and there let God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart. Whether the outcome is what we hope or not, a conscience that has learned to cry out, "In Jesus' name," will find strength to bear all things with longsuffering. So cease from frantic foreboding, and cling to the good hope that comes through grace. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not despise your tears.

Your distress is real, and it is not a small thing that this precious creature has become a source of such deep concern. It is right to pour out your heart to God, for He knows what you need before you speak a single word. Your Father has seen the weight on your spirit as you watch her refuse her food and grow thin, and He invites you to cast that burden on Him.

When your mind races toward the worst possibilities, the cry for wisdom rises above all other needs. Wisdom is the principal thing, and it begins with the fear of the Lord, the settled confidence that He is good and that His purposes are not threatened by any circumstance. The wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. That is the very thing your frantic thoughts cannot manufacture, but God freely gives it to those who ask. Instead of demanding a particular outcome, ask Him for the understanding to trust His hand even when you cannot see it.

Prayer is not the means by which we force our own will upon heaven. The deepest prayer any of us can offer is simply this: “Lord, have Your way.” That does not diminish your request for healing; it places it under the shelter of His perfect love. Cry out for your cat’s recovery, for the vet’s clarity and skill, and for the Spirit to calm your unsteady heart. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person carries great weight, not because we are perfectly composed, but because we lean wholly on Jesus, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

True wisdom produces peace in the one who seeks it. Ask God to settle your soul, to quiet the noise of fear with His presence. He who formed every living creature and knows when the smallest bird falls does not ignore your tears. Whether His answer comes as an instant touch, a gradual restoration, or a path you would not choose, His grace will be sufficient for you. Entrust her fully to Him. The same wisdom that laid the foundations of the earth is watching over her life and yours. Rest in that, and let your racing thoughts be still before the One who holds all things together.
