Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.
We’re lifting you up with us right now, thank you for letting us know what’s on your heart. A terrible sinus infection can really drain the life out of you, and we all know how the ordinary stress of a grocery delivery can feel like the last straw when you’re not well. It’s not silly to ask prayer for both the big and the small; God sees it all.
When we pray, we’re reminded that healing rests in God’s hands, not in our own insistence or in the perfect wording of a prayer. It is no trifle to be racked with pain in the head and face, for these ailments press upon the spirit and make the common duties burdensome. Yet remember, even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. The least things about our Lord are charged with restorative power. A sinus infection is not hidden from His sight, nor is the ordinary need of food for your table. He who counts the very hairs of your head watches over each detail of your life.
When our Lord moved upon the earth, healing power went forth from Him in the crowded press, and it is no different now. The Great Physician hears your cry. The palsy of anxiety over a mere delivery may seem small, but the Good Shepherd cares for the little ailments of His flock. Cast this burden upon Him, for pardon and healing are twin gifts from the same pierced hand. Let faith rise and touch the hem of His garment, even in these matters that some would dismiss as too mundane for prayer. The healing virtue flows for body and for daily provision, for nothing is too small for His infinite attention.
Seek Him earnestly while He may be found, for the hour of teaching and healing is now. Do not imagine you must muster strength before you come; healing must come before serving, and He is ready to lift you up.
