We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You touch this dear one with Your healing hand, bringing relief from the cough and sinus infection that afflicts them. Your Word declares that by Jesus' stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.
Lord, we also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to care for them. We pray not only for physical healing but also for wisdom in making choices that honor You—resting when needed, nourishing the body with wholesome foods, and seeking godly counsel when necessary.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus' mighty name, for it is written that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this sickness has no place here and command it to leave in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also lift up the spiritual well-being of this beloved one. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, we pray that You would bring it to light so that they may repent and receive Your cleansing (1 John 1:9). Let this time of physical weakness be an opportunity to draw closer to You, to seek Your face, and to grow in faith.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For it is through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will.
May this dear one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We trust You for complete restoration, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
