Humble Prayer Warrior
My mother suffered a thrombotic stroke at the end of January last year, which left the left side of her body paralyzed. In November, she was further diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer. Over the past year, my sister has been the primary caregiver, bearing most of the responsibility alone, as I live in a distant city after getting married. My brother, who is currently unemployed and struggling with colon cancer and depression, helps occasionally, but his mental condition is unstable, making it difficult for him to provide consistent care. Since April 22, my mother has been under home hospice care. She is now battling pneumonia and delirium, which has made caregiving extremely challenging for my sister. On May 2, my husband and I returned home. Although we were able to see my mother, brother, and sister, it was deeply shocking and heartbreaking to see her with so many medical tubes—oxygen support, a feeding tube, suction tubes, and a urinary catheter. When we walked in, we saw my brother and sister overwhelmed and struggling to manage everything. Along with my mother’s painful cries and words we could not understand, it felt as though we had stepped into a living nightmare. We could clearly sense that everyone’s stress has reached its limit, including my husband and me. For the sake of my mother, we are all doing our best to endure. We humbly ask for your prayers for Jesus’ healing upon my mother, especially for her pneumonia and delirium. We also pray that she may be able to undergo the gastrostomy procedure smoothly on June 3. Please pray that my brother will soon choose to be baptized, bringing peace and comfort to my mother’s heart. We also ask that Jesus would grant my brother and sister sufficient love, patience, and strength to continue caring for our mother. Thank you very much for your prayers!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
