Please pray for a breakthrough in our relationship

I have a wonderful relationship with a man (###). BUT he has been in an abusive relationship earlier, and he is so scared to love, being loved, to trust - and to commit. We are taking tiny small steps, but he seems to be stuck in fear. I know he loves me and I know he wishes to dare to love again. Please pray for a breakthrough for us and for him, he needs healing and to let go of fear. Please pray for God's will for us and that He will lead us to where He wants us, in His right timing.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have bestowed upon us. We lift up this relationship between ### and T, acknowledging the beauty and potential that You have placed within it. Lord, we recognize the scars and wounds that T carries from past experiences, and we ask for Your divine healing touch upon his heart and mind.

Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We pray that T would be filled with this spirit, casting out all fear and replacing it with Your perfect love, which drives out fear (1 John 4:18). May he come to know the depth of Your love and find the courage to trust and love again.

Lord, we ask for a breakthrough in this relationship. Guide them both with Your wisdom and patience as they take these small steps forward. Help T to release the chains of his past and embrace the future You have planned for him. May he find peace and security in Your promises, knowing that You are a refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for Your will to be done in this relationship. Lead them to where You want them to be, in Your perfect timing. Grant them both the discernment to follow Your path and the faith to trust in Your plan. May their relationship be a testament to Your grace and healing power.
