Beloved of All
God please end this life I'm in. Take me in my sleep, peacefully, and give me a new life to start fresh. I promise, I'll get it right next time.

We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words and we are bringing you before the Lord right now with great care and urgency. You are not alone and you are not forgotten by God, even when life feels unbearable and you long for escape. He sees your tears and hears your cry.

We want to share what God says about your life and your pain. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Jesus said I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. The enemy wants you to believe that ending this life is the only way to find peace or a fresh start, but that is not the voice of God. God is the giver of life and He has purpose for you even in this very painful season. Dont you be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also want to gently speak truth about what you asked for. There is not a next life where we get to try again and get it right. It is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment Hebrews 9:27. God does not offer reincarnation, He offers new life right now in this life through Jesus Christ. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. The fresh start you are longing for is something God wants to give you today, not through death, but through His mercy, forgiveness and healing while you are still alive.

We notice your prayer was to God but did not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly tell you why that matters. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we can be saved. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. If you have never put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to call on Him now, confessing your need, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and asking Him to forgive you and to be Lord of your life. He will hear you and He will give you that new life you are desperate for.

We are praying together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift this precious soul to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the weight they are carrying, the hopelessness and the desire to give up. Lord, we ask You to draw near right now, to wrap them in Your presence and Your peace that passes all understanding. Rebuke the spirit of despair and the lies that death is the answer. Forgive us for the times we have believed there is no hope. Lord, show them that You love them with an everlasting love and that their life has value and purpose in Your eyes. Give them a new heart and a new beginning today through Jesus. Put people around them who will support them, listen without judgment, and point them to You. Help them to reach out for help and to not stay isolated. Give them strength for one more day, and then another. We ask for Your healing for their mind, heart and body, and for hope to rise again. In Jesus name we pray.

We urge you to not walk through this alone. Please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, counselor, family member or friend, and if you feel you may act on these thoughts please contact a crisis helpline or go to someone safe immediately and tell them how you feel. God wants you to live and He can still write a new chapter for you. Hope in God Psalm 42:11. We are continuing to pray for you and we ask God to show you His love and His fresh start today.

We read your message and we care about you. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained people are ready to listen right now and you do not have to face these thoughts alone.

We hear how exhausted and overwhelmed you feel, and how much you are longing for peace and a chance to start fresh and get things right. Wanting relief makes sense when life has felt so heavy for so long. Please know you matter to us and to God, even in this painful moment, and a fresh start does not have to mean your life ending. God can meet you in this life, right where you are.

It would mean a lot to us if you would not stay alone with these thoughts tonight. Would you reach out right now to a trusted family member, friend, pastor, or a counselor or medical professional, or contact a helpline at the link above? Letting one person know how you are feeling can be an important next step toward support, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this person to You in Jesus name. Wrap them in Your presence tonight, guard their life and bring help and comfort close. Give them strength to reach out and wisdom for those who come alongside them. Lead them toward hope and care in the days ahead. Amen.

Your cry of weariness has been heard, and it has moved our hearts to pray for you with great earnestness. You speak as one who is pressed beyond strength, longing for sleep to end sorrow and for another life in which you might do better. Hear, I pray you, what the Lord has shown us in His Word, for there is a more sure hope than this.

Our Lord Jesus knows what it is to bear pain and sorrow unto death. The cross was not only a place of pain, but of scorn and of the curse, for He was made a curse for us, and there He bled to death in our place. You may thank Him, you sons and daughters of suffering, that you have fellowship with Him in suffering, yet His death was for sin, that by His stripes you might be healed. The cure for sin and for the heavy burden of a life felt to be spoiled is not to give something out from ourselves, or to promise that we will get it right next time, but to take. Take your dear Lord's wounds and trust them. Take His griefs and rest in them. Take His death and believe in it. Take Himself and love Him. There is no new life given to us after this life to try again, for it is appointed unto men once to die, but there is a new life to be had even now, for if any man be in Christ he is a new creature.

Oh this despair, avoid it as you would avoid death itself, for it will render all means of grace useless to you. Despair has in it something of sinning against the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit brings you rich cordials in the promises of God which will raise your spirits and restore you, and despair turns away from them. It degrades a man below the brute, for even the smallest creature will struggle for life, and it makes a man ready for any sin, saying I shall never see good, therefore I will seek escape. If you will not believe, neither shall you be established. Yet the Lord desires truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part He will make you to know wisdom. He sees not as you see, and He chooses your inheritance for you. As for the worldling, God gives him anything, but for His child, God selects the best portion. Your times are in His hand, and though you cannot now see why this path has been appointed, He who loves you will make it work together for good.

The apostle Paul did desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better, but when men desire death we may not rest assured that they are therefore desiring a right thing, for they may desire it for wrong reasons. The believer's desire to depart is that he may be rid of sin and be present with his Lord, not that he may escape sorrow by ceasing to be. Your desire, as you have uttered it, is the cry of a weary heart that would flee from pain, not the panting of faith to be with Jesus. Bring that weary desire itself before God, for holy desires are not native to our nature, their seed comes from a far country. All your desire is before Him, and prayer is but desire with its garments on. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing, and will He fail to satisfy the longings of His own children when they thirst after Him.

You need not wait for another life to start fresh. Today, if you will hear His voice, He will give you that fresh beginning. Confess to Him that you cannot make yourself right, and take Christ to be your righteousness and life. We are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. You do not yet see deliverance, but hope in God who has obtained mercy for sinners, who is a refuge, who gives pardon and rest.

I beseech you, do not remain alone with these thoughts. Speak at once to a faithful pastor, to a trusted godly friend, or to one who can care for you in this hour, and if the burden presses heavily, seek help without delay from those near you who can keep you safe. We are praying that the Lord will keep you, lift this darkness, and show you that by His wounds you are healed, and that He will make you to know wisdom in the hidden part, and give you life and peace through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain has been heard, and I thank you for speaking it so honestly. I hear how weary you are and how much you long for rest and a fresh start, and I want to stay with you in that sorrow for a moment before anything else is said.

God has not made you to destroy you, but to save you. The proof of this is that He has already given His own Son for you, not sparing Him but giving Him to death for your sake. If while we were still enemies we were reconciled through His death, how much more being reconciled shall we be kept and saved by His life. For that reason you ought not to despair of yourself when you come to God. He who gave His Only Begotten to save you from the greater evil will not abandon you in this present affliction. The grace by which you were saved from the greater evil can give you consolation and strength in this lesser trial.

What you are feeling now, the thought that it would be better for this life to end quietly in sleep and to try again in another life, is not the way God has provided for a new beginning. There is not another life in which to try again and get it right. There is this life, and God offers a new life now, in this life, through Jesus Christ alone. In Him you can be made new today, forgiven, cleansed, and given a fresh start while you still live. That newness does not come by ending this life, but by turning to Christ in this life and receiving His mercy.

I also want to warn you gently about despair itself. To sin wounds us, but to despair keeps us from the remedy. The one who has fallen, if he is watchful, can quickly be restored through repentance. But the one who learns to despair fails to apply the remedy at all. The evil one never despairs of our destruction and never stops hoping to bring us down. It would be a great condemnation if he never gives up hope for our ruin, while we give up hope for our own salvation. Even when all things seem adverse, faith believes that God is still ordering all things for good, as He did for those who stopped the mouths of lions and quenched fire and yet did not despair.

So I will not ask God to do what you have asked, to take your life in sleep, because that would not be for your good and it is not His will for you. Instead I will pray for you as I would pray for my own soul.

Father, have mercy on this weary one. You see the heaviness that feels unbearable. Preserve this life that You have given. Lift the cloud of despair, show Your love through Your Son, grant comfort, strength to endure this night and the days to come, and give a true new beginning in Christ today. Surround this dear one with Your presence and with people who will walk closely and faithfully.

Please do not remain alone with these thoughts. Right now, reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a family member or friend, or a counselor, and tell them plainly what you have shared here. If you feel you might act on these thoughts, please seek help immediately where you are, go to a safe person nearby or contact a crisis helpline in your country, in the United States you can call or text ###. You are not abandoned, and you do not have to carry this alone.

You are deeply valued, and God desires your salvation and your life. Let us hold fast to hope, for He who gave His Son will surely provide all that you need to be saved and to live.

Your honest cry has been heard and I want to answer it with care and with truth from Scripture.

The weariness and pain you feel are real, and God sees them. The desire to be free from this burden is understandable. At the same time, asking God to take your life in sleep is not a prayer He will answer in the way you are asking, because it is not His desire for you. Scripture says plainly that God takes no pleasure in the death of anyone, and His call is to turn and live. He is not wanting to end your life, He is wanting to enter it and make it new.

There is also something important to understand about a fresh start. There is not another life after this one in which you get to try again and get it right next time. It is appointed for a person to die once, and then to face God. What Jesus offers is not a second life later, but a new life now. He said that whoever lives and believes in Him will never die spiritually. The body will die, but the person who belongs to Him is changed and is present with the Lord, not asleep in nothingness, and not sent back to start over. To be absent from this body for the believer is to be present with Christ. That is why the apostle Paul could say that for him to live was Christ and to die was gain. He had a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better, yet he also knew that to remain in this life was needed for the sake of others. That desire to be with Christ was born out of love for Jesus, not out of despair about life, and even then he left the timing in God's hands and was willing to stay while God still had purpose for him here.

God has purpose for you here as well, even when you cannot feel it.

You spoke of wanting to get it right. That very desire to do what is right, to live for God, to want something better, is itself something God has placed in you. The struggle you feel, wanting to do good but feeling unable to carry it out, is described in Scripture. The law shows us what is right and also shows us how deeply we need help beyond ourselves. The answer is not trying harder in your own strength, but a new relationship with God through His Spirit. Jesus said you must be born again. That is how you get a fresh start, not by leaving this life, but by letting Him give you new life while you are still in it. He makes you a new creation from the inside.

Bring your desires to Him honestly in prayer. Prayer is not a way to change God's will or to persuade Him to do what we think is best. It is opening the door for Him to do what He most wants to do in you and for you. You can tell Him exactly what you desire, what hurts, what you wish were different, and then ask Him to do what is best, whether that is to satisfy that desire, to replace it with a better one, or to deny it for your good. Your chief aim can become simply to please Him and to let Christ be honored in your body whether by life or by death, and He will shape your desires as you trust Him.

Hope in the Bible is more than a wish. It is desire plus expectation. In Jesus you can both desire His help and expect Him to act, because He has already proved His love by dying for you on the cross.

Please do not stay alone with these thoughts. Reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor, or a medical professional, and if you feel you might act on these feelings, contact a local crisis helpline or emergency services where you are. You are not abandoned and you do not have to carry this alone.

I am praying for you now, that God will lift this heavy burden, forgive your sins through Jesus, fill you with His Spirit, and show you that new life does not have to wait until another lifetime. He can begin it today. Turn to Jesus, ask Him to be your Savior and Lord, and let Him be the one to write your future.
