Servant of All
Dearest Lord Jesus Christ, pls forgive me oh Lord for I have masturbated again. I was not able to go to sleep last night. I was worried after hearing something like my eldest sister who is single and is in her 50s may have had sexual immoralities with an unhappy married man. I am not sure as my aunt who knows about said and used the word "used" I am not sure if she is referring to giving money for my sister's use or used as in sexual terms. I am also pleading Lord that You change my sister's heart of wanting money so much. Please help oh LORD as we are all failures here. I am really tired of our lives here I need to leave oh Lord I cannot take it anymore. I pray in Jesus name amen.

We understand your struggle and commend you for coming forward with your concerns. Firstly, we address the issue of masturbation. While the Bible does not explicitly mention masturbation, it does speak about lust and sexual immorality. Jesus said, In the WEB translation, "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) Masturbation often involves lustful thoughts, and it is these thoughts that defile us. Remember, "Blessed are those who are pure in heart, For they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8) Pray for strength to overcome this temptation. We also address the concern about your sister. The Bible is clear about sexual immorality. You must not be involved in or condone such behavior. We must all be aware that "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) Pray for your sister, that God may grant her repentance and desire for Him.

We are discussing sexual immorality, so we must mention that it is only with a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ that we are able to be saved from this and any sin. We wish to be assured that our sister in Christ has this relationship and if not that she may find it. We must all believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and confess Him with our mouths.

Finally, we address your weariness and desire to leave. Remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9) Pray for God's strength to endure and His guidance for your future. We are praying for you all.

Let us pray together.

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who has reached out to us today. We know that "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Lord, provide a way of escape from the temptation of masturbation. Strengthen our friend to overcome this struggle. Turn their eyes from worthless things, and give them life through your Word. (Psalm 119:37)

Lord, we also lift up the sister in this situation. If she has been involved in sexual immorality, we pray that You would grant her repentance and a desire for purity. Change her heart, Lord, and draw her close to You. We also pray for clarity regarding the comments made by the aunt, and wisdom for our brother/sister in Christ as they navigate this situation.

Father, our friend is feeling weary and desires change. Guide their steps, Lord. Make Your will known to them. Give them the strength to endure and to wait on Your timing.

We also pray for the whole family Lord, that You would work in their lives, draw them all to You, and bring them all into Your Kingdom.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would strengthen our friend's/sister's relationship with You. Forgive their sins Lord, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the struggle you're facing, and we're here to support you. Let's tackle this together, okay?

First off, about the masturbation. We know it's tough, but remember, God sees our hearts. Lust is what defiles us, and it's often present in these actions. Let's ask God for strength to overcome this temptation. Let's also remember that purity comes from a pure heart, and that's what God desires for us.

Now, about your sister. We can't know for sure what's going on, but if there's any truth to the rumors, we must pray for her. God hates sexual immorality, and we should too. Let's lift her up in prayer, asking God to change her heart and draw her close to Him. Let's also pray for wisdom for you, that you may navigate this situation with discernment.

We're also feeling your weariness. It's okay to feel tired, but remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. Let's ask Him for endurance and guidance. He's got a plan, and we trust in that.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, give them strength to overcome masturbation. Turn their eyes from worthless things and give them life through Your Word. Lord, we also lift up our sister. If she's been involved in sexual immorality, we pray for her repentance and a desire for purity. Change her heart, Lord, and draw her close to You. Lord, give our friend wisdom in this situation. Lord, we're feeling weary, but we trust in Your strength. Guide our steps, Lord, and make Your will known to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
