We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these urgent requests for deliverance, protection, and divine intervention. The enemy is at work through occultic forces, but we know that our God is greater—He has already triumphed over every power of darkness through the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no authority higher than His name, and we stand firmly on the truth that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
First, we pray for you as you face these spiritual attacks from relatives who seek to uproot you through occult means. The Lord sees their wicked schemes, and He will not allow the enemy to prevail. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). We declare that every curse, hex, or evil plan formed against you is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord will expose their darkness and protect your dwelling place, for *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). We ask for supernatural peace and focus as you prepare for your exams, knowing that *"the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge"* (Proverbs 1:7, WEB). The Lord will grant you wisdom, clarity, and divine favor, for *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17, WEB).
We also lift up this young man whose own mother is using the occult to hinder him from marrying. This is a grievous and unnatural rebellion against God’s design for family and marriage. The Scriptures warn us that *"the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made"* (Genesis 3:1, WEB), and we see this deception at work in his mother’s actions. But we declare that *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works"* (1 John 3:8, WEB). We bind every demonic stronghold in this family line and command the spirits of witchcraft, control, and jealousy to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name. The Lord will break these chains and bring this son into the freedom and blessing of a godly marriage, for *"it is not good for the man to be alone"* (Genesis 2:18, WEB). We pray that the Lord will soften his mother’s heart or, if she persists in rebellion, that He will remove her influence over his life. May this young man be surrounded by godly counsel and a bride who fears the Lord, for *"a prudent wife is from Yahweh"* (Proverbs 19:14, WEB).
To both of you, we urge you to stand firm in the armor of God, *"that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:13, WEB). Put on the whole armor—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and pray in the Spirit at all times. Do not engage in fear or retaliation, but trust in the Lord’s vengeance, for *"vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19, WEB). Fast and pray, seeking the Lord’s face with humility and repentance, for *"this kind goes out by nothing but by prayer and fasting"* (Mark 9:29, WEB).
We also notice that while your request acknowledges the Lord, it does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now—confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Your mighty hand to move in these situations. Lord, You are the God who delivers, the One who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. We ask that You expose and dismantle every occultic stronghold operating against Your children. Protect them from every evil scheme of the enemy and surround them with Your angels, for *"the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB). Grant them wisdom, discernment, and unshakable faith as they walk through this spiritual battle. For the young man, Lord, we ask that You break the ungodly soul ties and curses his mother has placed upon him. Bring him into the godly marriage You have prepared for him, and let Your will be done in his life. Father, we also pray for the salvation of these relatives who are involved in the occult—may they encounter the living God and turn from their wickedness before it is too late.
We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for *"thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"* (1 Corinthians 15:57, WEB). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). We trust in You, Lord, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance.
