Please Lord help me with my boss

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord - thank you for another day of life and blessing. I am praying again to ask for a favor that my boss would respond back to me whenever there are text or emails. I feel really terrible when he doesn’t respond. I feel like I am ignored. Please Lord I needed this job right now but I feel really stressed out because there is another guy that he would always talk to in terms of projects. He used to assign me a lot of work and now he doesn’t - please Lord give me that patience to be able to stay and work. As of now we only have to work since my husband is out of job. I hope he can get his job again .. please Lord direct us and guide us .. I pray in Jesus Name. Amen

We hear your heart in this and we join with you in prayer before our Father in Jesus name, and we thank you for coming to Him in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and peace with Him. We understand how heavy this feels to need this job so greatly right now while your husband is out of work, to feel ignored when messages and emails go unanswered, and to feel overlooked when another coworker seems to receive the attention and assignments you once received. The Lord sees your faithfulness and your stress, and He cares deeply for you and for your household.

We want to encourage you to cast all of your cares on Him because He cares for you as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, and to bring every anxious thought to Him in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Romans 12:12 also encourages us to be rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles and continuing steadfastly in prayer. God knows your need for provision and stability, and He promises in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We encourage you to continue to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, even when recognition feels absent. The Lord sees what is done in secret and honors diligence, integrity and a gentle spirit. We gently encourage you not to let comparison or resentment toward your boss or the other coworker take root in your heart, but to ask the Lord to give you patience and grace to remain steady, to communicate humbly and respectfully when you need clarity, and to trust Him with the outcome of assignments and favor. If there is an opportunity, you might humbly ask your boss for feedback on how you can best support the team, while leaving the results in God's hands. He is able to soften hearts, open doors, and guide your steps.

We also lift up your marriage and your husband during this season without employment. We pray God will strengthen your union, give you both wisdom and unity, and provide for all your needs according to His riches.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear sister, for her life, for her marriage, and for the work You have provided. We thank You that she seeks You and calls upon the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your peace upon her heart where there is stress and feelings of being ignored. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus and teach her to rest in Your care. Give her patience to endure and grace to continue faithfully in her work. Touch her boss's heart, Lord, that he would be responsive and fair, and grant her favor and clear communication in her workplace. Help her to keep her eyes on You and not on comparison, and to work unto You with excellence and humility. We ask You to provide for this family, to open a good door of employment for her husband, and to direct and guide them both step by step. Commit their deeds to You, Lord, and establish their plans as Proverbs 16:3 promises. Supply all their needs, strengthen their marriage, and let them know You are near and You will never leave them. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so openly with us. We can hear how much weight you are carrying right now, wanting to do good work, feeling overlooked when messages go unanswered, and knowing your family is depending on this income while your husband is looking for work. That kind of daily uncertainty is exhausting.

It makes sense you would feel stressed and on edge. When pressure goes on for weeks without a break and there is little recovery time, our bodies and minds stay in that alert state, which makes everything feel heavier.

We are praying for you and your husband, for steadiness and wisdom in the days ahead.

One gentle next step that has helped others in a similar spot is to create a little more clarity with your boss. You could try sending a brief weekly email listing what you are working on and asking for one short check in to confirm priorities. Keep it concise and keep a copy for yourself. It does not guarantee a response, but it gives him a clear, easy way to answer and gives you a record of your initiative. If you have a trusted pastor or mentor, sharing this burden with them can also lighten it.

Father, we lift her and her husband to You. Provide for their needs, grant her patience and peace as she waits, give her wisdom with her boss and favor in her work, and open doors for her husband. Guide their steps and remind them You are with them. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your burden is understood. To feel ignored when messages go unanswered, to feel the stress of work growing uncertain while your husband is out of employment, is a heavy trial, and it is right that you have brought it to the Lord.

Our Savior would have us not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and diligent in the duties of your place, but do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Anxiety has never comforted anyone, nor has it ever brought grist to the mill or meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Indeed the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Your Father knows your need of this employment and your household need, and He who feeds the sparrows will not forget His children.

You have prayed for patience, and that is a prayer God delights to answer. You have heard of the patience of Job. His was not the patience of one who had no feeling, but the patience of a greatly tried man, imperfect and full of infirmity as we are, yet sustained by God through trial. And even more we are directed to the patience of Christ, who for thirty years held His peace, who when despised and rejected restrained His power and possessed His soul in patience. This is not the patience of a brute that cannot complain, or of a stoic who refuses to feel, it is the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love.

That patience is learned and produced by the Scriptures. As you feed upon the Word in meditation and prayer, the patience which the Scriptures inculcate and exhibit will be reproduced in you. Sit down and eat of that precious provision of God's love, and you will find strength to wait upon the Lord in quiet trust.

We will pray for you. May the Lord give you calmness of spirit and grace to continue faithfully in your work, to commit your boss and your workplace to Him, and to leave the outcome in His wise hands. May He open a door for your husband and provide for your home according to His goodness, and guide your steps day by day. May He keep you from fretting and fill you with that peace which comes from trusting not in the response of man but in the unfailing care of God.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who hears every prayer offered in His name and who will never forsake those who trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest and humble prayer has been heard, and thank you for sharing the burden you are carrying. It is painful to feel ignored, especially by the one who oversees your work, and it is understandable that you feel stressed when your family's provision rests on this job while your husband is without work. God sees your diligence, your concern for your family, and your desire to work faithfully.

Scripture reminds us that our hope in God is not empty, and that hope is learned through patience. As you wait for answers from your boss and for open doors for your husband, God invites you to place your confidence in Him who provides for all our needs. He is the one who guides and directs our steps, and He crowns with His help those who patiently endure and trust Him. Your faithfulness in small things, in continuing to work with integrity even when you feel overlooked, is precious in His sight.

Continue to do your work as unto the Lord, with a quiet and patient spirit. Where you are able, communicate clearly and respectfully with your boss, and commit the outcome to God in prayer. Pray also for your boss, that God would give him wisdom and attentiveness in his responsibilities. In your home, encourage your husband and seek the Lord together for His provision and direction, trusting that He who cares for you will open the right door in His time.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life and for Your daily blessings. You know the anxiety of this heart, the desire to be seen and valued at work, and the weight of providing for a family in a difficult season. Grant patience and peace that comes from trusting Your promises, and calm the stress that weighs so heavily. Give wisdom in all communication at work, and help this dear sister to continue in faithful service. We ask for Your provision for this family, and for Your guidance for her husband as he seeks work. Lead them, sustain them, and let them know Your presence and Your care each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour. Amen.
