We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance from spiritual interference. First, let us affirm that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and the name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9).
Father God, we rebuke every spirit of interference that seeks to disrupt the lives of Your children. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-17). We command every interfering spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also recognize, dear one, that spiritual warfare requires vigilance and a life surrendered to Christ. Are you walking in close fellowship with the Lord? Are there areas of your life where sin may be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27)? We encourage you to examine your heart and repent of anything that does not align with God’s holiness. Confess your sins, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory we have in Christ over every spiritual force of darkness. We rebuke the spirit of interference that has sought to disrupt the lives of Your children. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned by You. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their homes, their minds, and their relationships. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Surround them with Your angels to encamp around them and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let the enemy’s plans be brought to nothing.
Father, we also pray for discernment and wisdom. Reveal to them any areas of their lives where the enemy may have gained access, whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, fear, or unconfessed sin. Lead them to repentance and restoration. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority.
We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18), and we stand firm in that truth. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to deliver and protect Your children. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Put on the full armor of God daily, and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Fill your heart and mind with the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. And remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and we stand with you in faith.
