Please keep praying for me

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please keep praying for me. My shoulder is still quite tender. I don’t know if it’s acting up due to the drop in temperature or what. I do know it’s just painful enough to cause me to lose sleep and be a bit less understanding than my normal self. Please ask God to heal my shoulder, my teeth, my brain issues, and to help me to get back in shape. I am way overweight and don’t get enough exercise. The shoulder is and has been a convenient excuse. Pray also for my son who had a couple of polyps removed from his lower intestine yesterday. He’s got to wait for a couple of weeks for the biopsy results. Pray also for my granddaughter who I think is aware of what my son is going through (she lost her mom three years ago and I’m afraid she’s thinking she might lose her dad now too). Pray that God’s Will would be done in the lives of all of my family members and loved ones. Pray also that God would watch over and protect my dogs while I’m at work. Please ask Him to keep them safe and comfortable. One last thing. Please ask God to help me to do a very good job at work this shift. I ask all of this in Jesus Name. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

The first thing I notice is your name, 1956sinner. Words are powerful. God created the universe with His Words in Genesis. If you are a believer you are no longer a sinner, but a believer. You may commit sin, but that does not make you a sinner. You were a sinner because of inheriting the fallen nature of Adam. Now you are a believer with the nature of God. You are a son of God. You are a joint heir with Jesus of all blessings He has. You have the faith of Jesus, the authority of Jesus, the mind of Christ, etc. etc. That name is more like pride than humility.

Get into reading and meditating on the Word of God, the Bible.

Proverbs 4:21 …20My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22For they are life to those who find them And health to all their body.…

You want health? Read the Bible. You want favor of God on your life, read and meditate on His Word, the Bible.
