Loving and Merciful Father, please help us not only to resolve to do good, but to complete the good we set out to do. Help us to exceed in faith, in knowledge, in all earnestness and in love of the brethren. We humbly ask for Your help in giving us a generous spirit. Set our hearts on fire with love for You Precious Father by keeping all Your teachings in order to glorify You, the giver of all good gifts. Abba Father, please, keep protection near and danger afar. We pray that You will keep hope within and doubt without. Please also keep light near and darkness afar. We pray that You will also keep peace within and keep evil away. In the conflicting voices of our hearts, please grant us a calmness of hearing Your words. Let our lives be rooted in the ground of Your teachings.
