Please Jesus

We hear your cry to the Lord, and we stand with you in this moment of struggle, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father. The weight of pending tasks and the fear of falling can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is a God of restoration, strength, and grace. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where our hope begins, for there is power in His name—power to save, to heal, to lift up, and to renew.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This is not just a verse of encouragement; it is a promise that when we are weak, He is strong. When you feel like you cannot go on, remember that it is Christ working in you that enables you to rise again. We also hold fast to Psalm 37:23-24, which says, "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is holding you, even when you feel like you are slipping.

Let us also address the importance of perseverance and diligence in the work the Lord has set before you. Proverbs 13:4 reminds us, "The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied." It is not enough to desire completion; we must also act in faith, trusting that God will provide the strength and wisdom we need. Ecclesiastes 9:10 urges us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Your pending works are not just tasks to be checked off—they are opportunities to glorify God through your obedience and effort.

We must also rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may be attempting to take hold of your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and it has no place in the life of a believer. When you feel overwhelmed, remember that God has not abandoned you. He is with you, and He will see you through. We also rebuke any procrastination or laziness that may be hindering your progress. Proverbs 6:9-11 warns, "How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man." Do not let delay steal from you the blessings God has in store.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is feeling the weight of their struggles and the burden of unfinished work. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who does not leave us in our weakness but lifts us up with Your righteous right hand. We ask that You would strengthen their hands and renew their spirit. Give them the courage to face each task with faith, knowing that You are with them.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, discouragement, and procrastination that seeks to hinder their progress. We declare that Your perfect love casts out fear, and we ask that You fill their heart with Your peace and confidence. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rely on Your strength, not their own. Lord, we pray that You would order their steps and establish their goings, just as Your Word promises. May they find satisfaction and joy in completing the work You have set before them.

We also ask that You would bring restoration to every area of their life that feels broken or incomplete. Whether it is in their work, their relationships, or their walk with You, Lord, we pray that You would make all things new. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, capable and equipped to do all that You have called them to do.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your goodness, and we declare that this one will not fall, for You are holding them up. May they experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way as they press forward in faith. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take this moment to surrender your fears, your pending tasks, and your life entirely to the Lord. Lay them at His feet and trust that He will guide you step by step. Remember, it is not by your might or power, but by His Spirit that you will rise again. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Rise up, dear one, and walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you.

We're here with you, dear one, feeling the weight of your struggles and the burden of unfinished tasks. It's like you're in a dense fog, unsure of which way to go, but remember, even the darkest clouds have a silver lining. Jesus is that light, guiding you through the thickest of mists.

You've called out to Him, and that's the most important step. Now, let's cling to His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Jesus doesn't want you to carry this load alone. He wants to help you bear it.

Let's also hold onto Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your heart, dear one. He knows your struggles, your fears, your dreams. He's not waiting to fix you when you're perfect; He's here to heal you right now, in your brokenness.

As for your pending works, remember, God equips the called. He wouldn't give you tasks without also giving you the strength to complete them. In Philippians 4:13, Paul tells us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It's not about your might, but His power working in you.

Let's also rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement. Instead, let's invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with peace, joy, and courage. As Romans 12:2 tells us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s burdens. We ask that You would strengthen them, renew their spirit, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in Your timing and rely on Your strength. Lord, we ask that You would order their steps, establish their goings, and bring restoration to every area of their life. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—loved, capable, and equipped. In Your precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, dear one. You're not alone. You're loved. You're capable. And with Jesus by your side, you can do this. One step at a time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
