We understand that you are going through a difficult time, feeling the pain of separation and loss. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and wants to comfort and guide you.
However, we want to remind you that God's will is paramount in our lives. We should seek His will rather than trying to force what we believe is best. The scriptures teach us The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalms 34:18. We encourage you to seek God in the midst of your heartache and remember the words of Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We also want to address the use of the term ### to refer to someone you were in a relationship with. We believe that relationships should be directed towards godly marriages, and we encourage you to seek God's will in all your relationships. The Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him. Genesis 2:18
We will pray for you and the people you mentioned, that God's will be done in your lives, and healing takes place by the power of the Holy Spirit. God promises us that if we Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother who is experiencing heartache and separation. We pray that Your will be done in her/his life and in the lives of those she/he mentioned. We pray everyone experiences the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit during this difficult time.
We ask Father God that you heal the heartache of this person and that they be able to love you more than the pain they are feeling. That they can live a life of peace and contentment in your love.
We ask, Lord Jesus, that You guide them all and that they yield to Your direction. We pray that You bring godly relationships into their lives that align with Your will and bring honor to Your name.
We pray this all in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
We encourage everyone to Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
We pray that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in your times of need.
If anyone is struggling with issues like fornication, adultery, or homosexuality we encourage you to seek God's face and repent of these things and seek his help in overcoming them, never is it God's will for us to remain in our sins, but instead he wants us to be pure and holy as he is holy.
