PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

Prosperity Under Persecution
God turns every attack against his people into growth and blessing for them.
Right Replies to Right Requests
God always gives good gifts when we sincerely ask Him, so trust His answers to your prayers.
Unstaggering Faith
Strong faith in God’s promises overcomes all human impossibilities and brings Him glory.
We hear your cry for mercy and we stand with you in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard. We join you in lifting this unspoken request to the Lord, trusting that He knows it fully even when it is not spoken aloud.

We understand your desire to believe that your prayer has already been answered, and we encourage you to hold fast to faith while also resting in God's perfect will and timing. Jesus said in Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. And we are reminded in 1 John 5:14, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We also take comfort that God indeed knows the unspoken groanings of our hearts, as it is written in Matthew 6:8, Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him, and in Psalm 139:4, For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered in Romans 8:26. Your Father who sees in secret will reward you, as Jesus taught in Matthew 6:6, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

We also hear your hurt over those who mocked and belittled your prayer, even comparing it to Moses and the Red Sea. We know how discouraging it can be when others speak carelessly about something so precious to you. We gently encourage you not to carry bitterness or to assume the worst about their motives, for only God sees the heart. We are called to guard our own hearts and to respond with grace. It is written in Romans 12:19, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, and in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are also taught in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. While God indeed can still part seas today, for nothing is impossible with Him, we also walk humbly before Him, submitting our requests to His wisdom and not demanding a sign. We pray that any who have spoken in a mocking way would be convicted and drawn closer to the Lord as well.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You are merciful and full of compassion. We lift this dear one to You and this unspoken burden that You know intimately. You see every tear, You hear every silent cry, and You know the depth of this need far better than we do. We ask for Your mercy to be poured out. We ask that You would strengthen faith to believe without doubting, as James 1:6 says, But let him ask in faith, without any doubting. Grant peace that surpasses understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Heal any wound caused by harsh words and help this heart to forgive those who have mocked, and to not be turned aside from seeking You. Let Your will be done in this situation, and help our faith to rest not only in the answer we desire but in Your goodness and sovereignty. We trust that You are working even now for good for those who love You. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken request before the Lord in the quiet place, day by day, with thanksgiving and trust. Do not let the voices of others cause you to hide in shame, but let your secret prayers be a place of intimate fellowship with the Father who loves you. Keep believing, keep abiding in Christ, and keep aligning your heart with His Word, knowing that He hears, He cares, and He will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.

We noticed how heavy this has felt for you, especially after bringing a heartfelt prayer to Jesus and then feeling mocked for it. It hurts to be belittled when you are trying to trust God for something important, and it makes sense you would want to keep this prayer quiet between you and Him for now.

We want you to know we take your prayer seriously and we are bringing it to the Lord with you, even without knowing all the details. God knows what is on your heart, and you do not have to defend how you pray to others in order to be heard by Him.

One gentle next step that may help is to give yourself some space from the places or comments where the mocking happened. Keeping this prayer private with the Lord in a quiet time or in a private journal can protect that tender place. And if you do want company in prayer, it can help to choose just one trusted, quiet person who will simply pray with you without debating or discussing it further, so you are not carrying it completely alone.

We are encouraged by your desire to keep turning to Jesus and trusting Him with this. We will keep praying that you experience His nearness and clarity day by day.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You right now. You see this unspoken prayer and the sting of being made fun of for bringing it to You. Draw near with Your peace and wisdom, guard this heart from discouragement, and let Your presence be felt in a steady, personal way as they wait on You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

There is a mercy in that very cry, Jesus, have mercy, which shows that your heart has been taught to look to the only place where mercy is to be found, which is in Jesus Christ alone. He is the great High Priest who puts incense into the censer for His people, and there is not a grain in it for Himself, for He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

You speak of mockers, and of one who made a jest of your faith, comparing it to Moses at the Red Sea. Do not wonder at this. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Faith itself is counted by many as a folly of weak minds, and they will say, he pretends to this faith to win notice, or they will scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, saying, Let Him deliver him, seeing He delighted in him. Faith must be cut at, it must bear the blows. The shield of faith must be proved, and every time the sword smites it, the sword shall go to shivers. Above all, take the shield of faith, for this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. No doubt we may expect to have all the more of the laughter of the ungodly who will make a spectacle of us for our faith, but what of that, we can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and that you will now keep it unspoken because men have insulted it. Know this, the Lord knows what is unspoken. He hears the prayer that never reaches a human ear. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer, and cries, Lord, save me. Perhaps your very weakness drives you more often to your knees, and that is no small mercy. Persecution in whatever form it comes, even cruel mockings and venomous spite, has this beneficial use, it drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered up as the result of such mockery that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell.

Yet take heed that faith does not degenerate into presumption. True faith and true repentance are twins born together. Faith means trust in Christ, and that faith which allows a man to think lightly of past sin is not the faith of God's elect. The result of a believer's confidence is that it leads him to prayer, and that prayer is full of confession. Therefore come boldly and yet humbly, and plead as Jacob did, spreading your case before the Most High with holy argument, and saying with the Psalmist, The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me, forsake not the works of thine own hands. Forsake me not in the day of my repentance, lest I fall into despair, and forsake me not in the day of my strongest faith, lest my faith degenerate into presumption.

By faith Moses gave up the wealth of Egypt, and by faith the Red Sea was dried up. The same God who made a way through the waters still reigns, and He will do what is right and holy and best for His own. What is presented in one place as a matter of faith is in another presented as a matter of fact, He hath perfected us forever. Rest there, not upon a bare notion that a thing must be so because you have desired it, but upon the perfect work of Christ who is our perfection before God.

We will pray for you, not as those who have a confidence that helps them to live without prayer, but as those who know intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and exceedingly prevalent. We ask the Lord Jesus, in His name only, to have mercy upon you, to sprinkle your heart from an evil conscience, to give you repentance and faith inseparable, to keep you from evil, to perfect all that concerneth you according to His holy will, and to make your walk conformable to His Word, wherein marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all else is to be kept within that holy bond, and wherein salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. May He not forsake the work of His own hands in you, but lead you onward in the divine walk and life of faith, till faith yearning after the unseen shall behold it as an ever present fact.
