PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you in seeking the Lord Jesus together, for He alone is our mediator and our hope. We understand you are carrying a deep unspoken burden that you have entrusted to Jesus and you desire to believe in faith that He has heard you, even while you have felt hurt and mocked by others who have belittled your prayer. We want to lift this entire situation before the Father with you.

God truly does know the unspoken prayers of our hearts even before we speak them. As it is written, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:1-4. And when we do not have words, the Spirit Himself intercedes for us according to the will of God Romans 8:26-27. Jesus also taught us that our Father who sees in secret will reward us when we pray in secret Matthew 6:6, so your decision to keep this matter as an unspoken prayer between you and Him is honored by God and is fully seen by Him.

We also want to gently encourage you regarding faith and answered prayer. We share your confidence that Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask, and we are taught to pray with faith as in Mark 11:24. Yet scripture also teaches us to pray with trust in His perfect will and not as a demand we place upon Him. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. His thoughts and His ways are higher than ours Isaiah 55:8-9, and sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes it is wait, and sometimes in His mercy He answers differently than we expect because He knows what is truly best for us. So we encourage you to continue to believe He has heard you and to trust Him to answer in His perfect timing and wisdom, rather than feeling you must force yourself to declare it is already done in the exact way you have imagined. This protects your heart from discouragement and keeps your faith resting in His character rather than in a specific outcome.

Concerning those you felt mocked and insulted your prayer, we understand how painful it is when a sincere cry to God is treated lightly or compared to something impossible. We encourage you not to harbor bitterness toward them, and not to assume their heart motive is only to look good or seek self-praise. Vengeance belongs to the Lord Romans 12:19, and we are called to love and pray for those who may have despitefully used us Matthew 5:44. Even when we are blessed when people reproach us and say all kinds of evil against us falsely for His sake Matthew 5:11, we are to respond with grace and forgiveness, leaving judgment to God who sees all hearts. We release that hurt to Him with you.

Let us pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and by which we have access to You Acts 4:12. We thank You that You are merciful and full of compassion and that You know this unspoken request intimately. You see every detail, every tear, and every hope that our friend is carrying. We ask for Your mercy to be poured out. Lord Jesus, have mercy and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask that You would strengthen faith, grant peace that passes all understanding Philippians 4:7, and guard this heart from anxiety and from the sting of mocking words. Forgive us where we have held offense toward others and help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Let Your Spirit intercede where words fail, and let Your perfect answer be made clear in Your time. We trust not in our own understanding but in Your goodness Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We can hear how much it hurt to bring a sincere prayer to Jesus and then feel it was mocked or belittled by others. It makes sense you would want to keep this prayer unspoken for now and hold it just between you and God.

We want you to know God does hear the prayers we don't put into words for others. He knows what you are carrying even when you don't explain it, and your faith is not measured by how others respond to it. Faith is really about quiet confidence in who Christ is, even when emotions are raw or people have been unkind.

If that public space felt unsafe, it is understandable to step back from sharing there. One thing that helps many people in this kind of moment is to keep bringing the same prayer privately before the Lord in a simple, steady way, perhaps writing it down just for yourself and Him, so you have a private place to return to without needing to defend it to anyone else. If you do want support, one trusted person who will simply pray with you without needing details can be a comfort, but you don't have to share more than you want to.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this dear one and this unspoken request before You. You know every detail and every ache behind it. Guard their heart from discouragement and from the sting of those words, give them peace as they wait on You, and help them rest in Your presence and Your care. We ask for wisdom and for Your will to be done. Amen.

Your cry for mercy is not hidden from the Lord, and He knows the unspoken burden that you have laid before Him in the name of Jesus Christ alone. It is well that you turn to Him and to Him only, for there is no other name by which we may come to God, and no other refuge for the poor in spirit than the Lord Himself.

You have felt the sting of those who mock. They have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge, and they have made sport of faith itself. Do not marvel at this. Our Lord Himself was mocked, with a crown of thorns and a reed in His hand, and they bowed the knee to insult Him. If they so treated the Master, His servants must expect the same. The mocker often speaks with great pretence of wisdom, yet it takes far more credulity to deny the power of God than to believe it. By faith the Red Sea was dried up, and by faith still God hears the prayer of His people. The world may jest at such faith, but we continue in it still and glory in it, for we have seen that there is a God that heareth prayer.

Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. Peter began to sink and he cried, Lord, save me. That is the place for you now. Pour out your heart before the Lord, not as one who demands that God must do as you have said, but as one who pleads His promise and leaves the answer in His wise hands. Jacob prayed and wrestled, and his prayer was answered, but not in the way he expected. He went on limping when the sun rose over Peniel, yet he was blessed. Do not be astonished if the Lord answers you in a way that humbles you and makes you more dependent upon Him. His way is to give what is best, not always what we first ask.

You say you must believe your prayer is already answered. Take care that faith is fixed in the Person of Christ, not in the strength of your own believing. Faith is like a shield, and it is of no use except it is well handled. Some have a faith when all goes well, but when the pinch comes their faith fails. True faith trusts Christ to do what is right and good, and it stoops in humility. It does not stand proud and prescribe to God what He must do. It says, Do as Thou hast said, and then waits upon the Lord to do according to His mercy and wisdom. Faith and repentance go together. If there is sin in the matter that you bring to God, first set matters right between God and your own soul. Confess it, turn from it, and trust the blood of Christ to cleanse you.

Whatever this unspoken request concerns, bring it into the light of Scripture. If it touches upon your walk, your relationships, or your home, remember that God has shown us His good way. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He calls His people to holiness. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that union alone is the place for the one flesh relationship and for living together as husband and wife. Any other path, though it may seem desirable to the heart, is not the way of blessing. Do not ask God to bless what His Word does not bless. Ask Him rather to make your desires conform to His will, to give you purity, self denial, and contentment in obedience, and to lead you in the way everlasting.

Take your shield of faith and esteem the reproach of Christ greater riches than all the treasures of Egypt. When temptation or mockery comes, hold up thoughts of the future and confidence of the reward that awaits the people of God. And continue in prayer. He who hears in secret will reward openly in His own time.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy would quicken you in His way, increase the vitality of your faith, guard your heart from the weight of worldly cares and from the fear of man, and grant you grace to pray, Lord, save me, and to rest in His answer, whether it be to give, to withhold, or to teach you to wait. May He forgive unbelief, spy out the lone spark of true faith even when it is all but smothered under a heap of rubbish, and graciously accept it for Christ's sake. May He show you everything needful for your soul in Jesus, and conform your will to His, that you may find peace not in having your own way, but in having Christ Himself.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and though you have kept the matter unspoken, God knows what you carry and what you have asked in the name of Jesus alone. There is comfort in this, that He who searches hearts does not need many words to understand the need, and He is able to do what no man can do.

Do not be troubled overmuch by those who mocked or made light of your prayer, even by comparing it to great works of God. It is the way of mockers to wound and then appear to heal, but our calling is different. We are to heal what we ourselves have done amiss and to lift up those who are cast down, not to cast down further. Leave the judgment of those voices to God and keep your heart fixed on Him in quiet trust.

Prayer is a great good and a strong wall for the soul, and it does mightily help us, yet it does not stand alone. The Scriptures teach us that even when God is ready to show mercy, He seeks those who make themselves worthy of mercy. This does not mean we earn His grace, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, but it means we come with a humble and honest heart. So when you ask the Lord to have mercy, add also what belongs to mercy. Show mercy to your neighbor, forgive as you wish to be forgiven, and walk in deeds worthy of the blessing you seek. Confess your sins before the Judge in prayer, not only saying in general that you are a sinner, but opening your heart before Him concerning each matter, and trusting His unspeakable mercy toward those who repent. If we desire to obtain mercy from God, we must first be willing to give it to others, for the merciful shall obtain mercy.

Do not put your confidence only in the words of prayer, and do not think that because you have prayed once you need not watch over your life. We always need prayer, and we need also to be awake and alert ourselves, joining our own obedience to what we ask from God. He is able to deliver and to provide, and He often does so through our patient endurance and through our continuing in what is right before Him.

Therefore we pray for you in this way, without presuming to bless what God has not called blessed, but asking only what is good and holy in His sight. May the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name alone there is salvation, have mercy on you and hear you according to His perfect will and wisdom. May He grant you not simply what you desire in the moment, but what will lead you closer to Himself, into purity, holiness, and obedience to His design. May He teach you to love what He loves, to live as He commands, whether in singleness or in marriage as He has ordained it to be the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to keep all things, including your body and your relationships, within His holy order. May He give you a lowly and simple heart, a willingness to repent where repentance is needed, and grace to persevere. And may He keep you with His Spirit, so that being taught and being upheld by prayer together, you may stand firm and be preserved from error.

We join our prayers to yours, asking the God of all mercies to work in you what is pleasing to Him.
