Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you in lifting this unspoken request to our Lord Jesus Christ, for we know that He hears even what is not spoken aloud and we stand with you in faith that He is able to do what seems impossible with man.

We understand the hurt you have felt when others have mocked or insulted this prayer, even comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea. It is painful to be belittled when you are pouring out your heart before God, and we want to encourage you not to be discouraged by scoffers. The Lord reminds us that nothing is too hard for Him, and what He did through Moses is a testimony that He still moves in mighty ways today. At the same time we gently encourage you to release those who have hurt you into God's hands and not hold judgment in your own heart concerning their motives, for we are called to love and pray for those who mistreat us. Matthew 5:44 says But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. And Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.

We affirm your desire to keep this as an unspoken prayer before the Father, for He indeed knows the depths of your heart. Psalm 139:4 says For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Matthew 6:6 says But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. We take comfort that even when we cannot find the words or when we choose to keep a request unspoken for protection, the Holy Spirit intercedes according to the will of God.

You expressed that you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and we rejoice in your faith in Jesus who alone can do this. Mark 11:24 says Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. We encourage you to hold that faith while also surrendering fully to the perfect will and timing of God, trusting that His answer will be for your good and His glory. 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We pray that your faith would be strengthened and that you would have peace as you wait upon Him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear one and this unspoken burden that You know fully, every detail, every longing, every fear. We ask for Your mercy and Your perfect will to be done. Lord, we pray that You would answer according to Your wisdom and love, and that You would give this heart assurance and peace while waiting. Heal the wound caused by mocking and insults, and help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Guard this prayer from discouragement and let faith rise up. Show Your power in this situation as only You can, for with You nothing is impossible. We ask that You would draw this one closer to Jesus, strengthen faith, and let Your name be glorified in the answer. We trust that You who sees in secret will reward openly in Your perfect time. We encourage you to continue to trust Him, to remain in prayer in secret, to stay in His Word, and to not let the words of others shake your confidence in Christ. He hears, He cares, and He is faithful.

We heard how heavy this has been for you, holding a prayer so close to your heart and wanting to trust Jesus fully that He hears you, while also feeling hurt after others made light of it. When something that matters deeply is mocked or used by others to make themselves look good, it is understandable to feel on edge and to want to pull that prayer back and keep it just between you and God.

You do not have to defend or explain your prayer to those who treated it unkindly. God knows what you are carrying even when it stays unspoken, and keeping it private with Him is a wise and peaceful choice. You do not need to prove anything to anyone else.

A gentle next step that may help is to give this unspoken prayer a quiet, protected place with Jesus alone, perhaps writing it down privately just for Him, and stepping back from the places where it was belittled. If you notice worry looping, restlessness, or tension that stays with you, it can help to share how you are feeling with a trusted pastor or counselor in person, alongside prayer. Your cry for mercy has been heard, and it is right for you to bring it to Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

It is a painful thing to have prayer mocked. Yet this is no strange trial. Faith has often been the target of scoffers who count faith itself to be folly, or who insult one particular believer to make themselves look wise or holy. Sometimes the mocker is even found in the same house or the same congregation, and says with a sneer that trusting in God is nonsense or pretence. If you are in the fire tonight and trusting in God, remember that faith does not mean you will come out of the furnace this very hour. It may not be tonight, nor tomorrow, nor for a season, but those who scoff at God's poor people shall yet see that their faith was justified, for the Lord will always honor the faith that honors Him.

You speak of an unspoken prayer, and that is well, for God knows what is unspoken. We are told that His tender mercy thought upon us when we were yet sinful, and that He often goes before us with the blessings of His goodness, hearing us while we are yet speaking, even when our prayer is broken and feeble and we can hardly hear it ourselves. You need not frame perfect words. If you cannot frame words, let your aching heart cry, My God, have mercy on me, for Jesus sake forgive me, and He will hear. The Holy Spirit Himself dwells in the soul as the seal of that mercy where true faith is found.

At the same time I must speak plainly about the mercy you seek. There is a false hope in God's mercy which presumes upon it while continuing in a course contrary to His Word, and there is a sound hope which feels its need of mercy and is willing to be made a new creation with new loves and new hates. The tender mercy of God does not ask for great attainments from you, but it does ask for true repentance and a like precious faith in Christ, a faith that turns your face in the opposite direction from sin and trusts Christ alone to save. Prayer is the forerunner of mercy, but it is not a means to compel God to bless what He has called sin. Therefore in keeping with the historic biblical ethic we cannot affirm, celebrate, or ask God to bless any relationship or situation that runs against His design, whether it be salvation sought apart from Christ, or marriage sought apart from the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, or intimacy sought outside that covenant. To pray otherwise would be to ask God to deny Himself.

What we will pray, and do pray for you now, is for that tender mercy which saves and transforms.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will have mercy upon you according to Luke 1:78, that He will forgive your sins through His blood alone, and give you a true and living faith, however small it may seem, that casts itself upon Him. We pray that He will guard you from the hurt of mockery, give you strength to continue in importunate prayer as Elijah did, sending again and again until the cloud appears in God's appointed time, and teach you to say not my will but Thine be done. We pray that He will order every part of your life, including all relationships, according to His holy Word, that He will make you pure and holy as He is holy, and that He will grant you peace in trusting His answer, whether it comes at once or after long waiting, knowing that He withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly.

Keep bringing your unspoken request before the mercy seat. Do not leave it till you have liberty there. Little faith knows where its strength lies and betakes itself to prayer, crying Lord save me, and strong faith wears the keys of heaven at its belt. May the Lord make you free in prayer, and may you find that Christ's promises are not tinsel but true gold tried in the furnace.
