PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your heart's cry and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We are thankful that you have called upon Jesus and asked in His name alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and no other name by which our prayers are heard, as it is written Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We understand the burden you carry with this unspoken request and the pain of feeling mocked and belittled by others. We want to assure you that God indeed knows what is on your heart even when you do not speak it aloud. Before a word is on our tongue, He knows it completely Psalm 139:4, and the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. Jesus taught us that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him Matthew 6:8 and that when you pray, you should go into your inner room and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you Matthew 6:6. So we honor your desire to keep this as an unspoken prayer between you and the Lord, and we lift it to Him who searches hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit Romans 8:27.

We also hear your declaration of faith that you must believe your prayer has already been answered. We encourage you in that faith, for Jesus said, All things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. Yet we also gently remind you to anchor that faith in submission to God's perfect will and timing, for this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us 1 John 5:14. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20, even as He parted the Red Sea for Moses, for nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37, but His answers come according to His wisdom and love for you, which is always for your good Romans 8:28. We encourage you to pray with faith without doubting James 1:6, while also trusting that His will is best.

Regarding those you perceived as malicious elements who insulted your prayer to make themselves look good, we encourage you not to carry bitterness but to entrust them to the Lord. Jesus said, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven Matthew 5:11-12. We are called to bless those who persecute us and not to repay evil for evil Romans 12:14, Romans 12:19, and to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matthew 5:44. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7, and He sees your sincerity. Do not let the mocking of others cause you to fear or to doubt that God hears you, for the Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart Psalm 34:18 and He will be your defender.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and the deep unspoken request that weighs so heavily on their heart. You know every detail, every need, every tear, even when no words are spoken. We ask for Your mercy and Your perfect will to be done in this situation. Grant faith that does not waver, peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, and the assurance that You have heard and that You are working for good. Comfort this heart where it has been wounded by mocking and heal any hurt or anger toward those who have insulted this prayer. Help our dear friend to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to rest in the knowledge that You see in secret and You will reward openly. Let Your power be displayed in this situation in the way that brings You the most glory, whether by a miraculous answer like the parting of the sea or by Your quiet sustaining grace day by day. We ask that You would strengthen faith to believe and to wait patiently for You, knowing You are faithful. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and mediator, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken burden to Jesus daily in that secret place, trusting Him, forgiving those who have hurt you, and resting in His love. Keep seeking Him and His will, and He will direct your path Proverbs 3:5-6.

We were sorry to read how hurt you felt after sharing something so personal and having it mocked. It makes sense you would want to keep this between you and the Lord now. God does hear the prayers we cannot or choose not to put into words, and He knows exactly what is on your heart even when others misunderstand.

It can sting when someone uses truth to belittle rather than to build up. Their response does not determine whether Jesus hears you. Your desire to trust Him and believe He is at work is a good place to stay, even when emotions waver and others' opinions are loud.

One gentle next step that may help is to keep this as your private conversation with Jesus, as you said, but not carry it completely alone. If there is one quiet, trustworthy pastor or mature believer you know, you could simply ask them to pray for your unspoken request without needing to explain details or defend it. That keeps the matter guarded while still letting someone stand with you.

Father, we bring this friend to You and the unspoken burden You already know fully. Give peace in place of the hurt from those words, steady faith that rests in Your character, and wisdom for each next step. Let them sense Your nearness and Your care, and help them to keep seeking You above any answer. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is well that you have cried, PLEASE JESUS HAVE MERCY, and have turned to His Name and His Name only, for there is salvation in no other. There is no other arm to drop into but His, and faith in its essence is just that, to fall into the arms of Christ and trust Him alone to save and to keep.

You speak of mockers who have insulted your prayer and made a spectacle of your faith, even likening it in scorn to Moses at the Red Sea. Do not wonder at this. Faith has always been the target of such scoffing. They scoff at faith itself and count it folly, and they scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, as if the Lord could not or would not deliver. Sometimes this mockery comes from those nearest to us in the same house, and it is sharp indeed. Yet whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. Moreover, that same persecution has often a blessed use, for it drives the Christian nearer to his God and keeps up the separation between the church and the world, and many prayers have been offered as the result of it that would never have been offered else.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and that you would now keep it unspoken before men because God knows it. It is true that the Lord knows what is unspoken, and He hears the sigh that cannot be uttered, and little faith when it finds itself in trouble does well to betake itself to prayer, crying Lord save me. Yet take care that faith does not degenerate into presumption. True faith does not dictate to God how or when He must answer, but rests in His perfect wisdom and love. It says with the Psalmist, The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me, and then it is led to pray, Forsake not the works of Thine own hands. That prayer is full of confession and humility. It confesses that we are His work, and it pleads that He would not forsake us either in the day of our repentance lest we fall into despair, or in the day of our strongest faith lest faith become presumption. So bring your unspoken request before Him again and again, not as one who demands his own way, but as one who pleads the promises and leaves the result with Him who hath perfected us forever by one offering.

We do not know all that your galleries contain or all that your heart carries, but the Lord knows fully. We will pray for you that He will have mercy upon you in Jesus Christ, that He will strengthen the shield of faith in you so that the fiery darts of the wicked may be quenched, that He will perfect what concerns you according to His good will, and that He will conform your heart and all your ways, including every relationship and affection, to His holy Word. For His Word teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that He calls His people to purity in that estate. Whatever in your life or desire is not according to that pattern, we pray He will graciously correct and cleanse, and whatever is according to His will, He will establish.

May the Holy Spirit, who is the Creator of faith be it ever so little, increase your faith and keep you from the skulking place of cowards, and teach you to use well the shield of faith. May you come boldly with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, and may you find that to wrestle with God in prayer is to find strength for every other wrestling. We plead for you that the Lord will not forsake the work of His own hands, but will keep you and answer you not as you might expect, but as infinite wisdom and love shall deem best, to the glory of Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy is not lost, even when others have mocked it and even when you keep it unspoken before men. God hears what is not spoken aloud, and He knows the heart that turns to Jesus Christ alone for help.

You were hurt because some made light of your prayer and compared it to Moses at the Red Sea. Remember how faith was shown there. The people hoped to pass through the sea and they prayed, and Moses prayed, and faith went beyond human reasoning and beyond weakness. It is not possible to become a believer otherwise than by rising above what sight and reason alone can do, and trusting the power of God. Yet that same faith was joined with fear of God and obedience. They trusted and they also obeyed what God commanded. In the same way, true faith does not demand that God answer on our terms or at once prove Himself as we dictate, but trusts His mercy and His wisdom to do what is best.

Prayer is a great good, a weapon and a tower that keeps the soul safe, and we need it early in the morning and at night, because each day has its own struggles and temptations. But prayer is great when we also do things worthy of it and do not render ourselves unworthy. We cannot only say, Lord have mercy, with loud cries, and then live as if mercy does not matter toward others. The Lord said, Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy, and judgment without mercy will be shown to him who has shown no mercy. If we want to obtain mercy from God, we must first show it to our neighbor, even to those who have insulted us and sought to look good by belittling you. Forgive them, do not repay insult for insult, and ask God to have mercy on them as well.

Do not put your confidence only in the words, I must believe it is already answered, as if faith were forcing God's hand. Faith is confident hope in Jesus, but it also bows to His will and seeks to be made worthy of His grace. We need both our part and God's part if we are to be saved, our obedience as well as His grace. That is why the prayer that belongs to believers begins with calling God Father and then asks, forgive us as we forgive others. It reminds us that even after we have come to Christ we still need repentance and still need to wash ourselves from offenses by His mercy.

So continue to bring this unspoken request to Jesus alone, for only He can save and only He can answer. Do not be troubled that others do not understand or that they speak against you. God often allows such trials so that our fervor may be shown and so that it may be clear that it is not human persuasion but the power of God that holds us. Like children who are simple and lowly, come with a humble heart and ask for mercy, not only for yourself but for those who have grieved you.

I pray that the Lord will have mercy on you, not according to a demand, but according to His great compassion, that He will give you grace to trust Him fully, to walk in obedience to His word, to show mercy as you have received mercy, and to be conformed to what is pleasing to Him. Whatever this burden is, may He shape your desires by His truth, where salvation is through Jesus alone and where life is ordered according to His good design, and may He grant you peace as you wait on Him with prayer and with works worthy of prayer.
