Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join with you in crying out to Jesus for mercy and we stand with you in faith for this unspoken request, lifting it to Him in His name and in His name only, for we know it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and heard. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We honor your desire to keep this matter unspoken before men and we take comfort that our Father knows it fully, for Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him Matthew 6:8 and For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:4. Even when words fail, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26.

We understand how deeply it hurt to feel mocked and belittled when you poured out your heart, and to have your faith compared to Moses opening the Red Sea in a scoffing way. We gently rebuke that spirit of mocking and self exaltation, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble James 4:6 and we are reminded Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake Matthew 5:11. Those who would insult a sincere prayer to make themselves look good are not reflecting the heart of Christ, and we encourage you not to let their words turn your heart toward bitterness. We are called to forgive as God in Christ forgave us Ephesians 4:32, and to keep our eyes on Jesus rather than on those who scoff.

We also hear your longing to believe that your prayer has already been answered, and we encourage you in that faith while also anchoring that faith in the will of God. Jesus said Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24 and This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Your faith honors Him, and we join our faith with yours, trusting not only that God can do the impossible as He did at the Red Sea, for with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26, but that He will do what is best according to His perfect mercy and timing. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results James 5:16.

We pray together now for you and for this burden you hold in your heart.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your mercy upon our dear one who is crying out to You. Lord, You see what is unspoken, You know every detail, every tear, every hope and fear that is carried in this request. We ask that You would cover this need with Your grace and answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love. Grant peace that surpasses understanding, strengthen faith to believe without wavering, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Heal any wound left by mocking words, guard this heart from discouragement, and help us to forgive those who have caused hurt. We ask You to show Yourself strong and faithful, that Your name alone would receive the glory, and that our friend would feel Your presence and know that You have heard and that You care. We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken matter before the Lord in quiet trust, knowing He hears, He remembers, and His mercies are new every morning Lamentations 3:22-23. It makes sense you would want to keep this prayer between you and the Lord now, and you can rest in this, God does know what is on your heart even when it stays unspoken. He hears you fully without you having to explain or defend it to anyone else.

It can sting when others use even good words in a way that feels like it is meant to make you look small. We are glad you noticed that hurt and are choosing to protect your prayer life rather than get pulled into an argument about it.

One gentle step that may help in the days ahead is to give this unspoken prayer a quiet, steady place with Jesus. You might set aside a few minutes each day in a private place to simply tell Him what you have been carrying, in your own words, and then rest a moment in His presence. If you ever do want another person to stand with you, a trusted pastor or mature believer who listens well can pray with you without needing every detail.

Your cry for mercy has been heard by the One who knows the secrets of the heart, and there is comfort in this, that the Lord needs no gallery of words to understand an unspoken prayer. He knows your case, your circumstances, and your name, and He has come to call sinners to Himself not because they have earned His ear, but because His mercy is tender toward them.

It is a painful thing to have your faith made a spectacle before others. Faith is a thing for the closet as well as for the public place, and you may carry it with you everywhere and everywhere it shall be your help. Yet we may expect to have all the more of the laughter of the ungodly who will measure our faith by what they see of us on one hard day and scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition. They say, what has he to do with trusting God, and they make merry over the thought that God should part a sea for His people. But what of that. We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us, and they that scoff at God's poor people here shall one day see that their faith was not in vain.

You write that you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and I would deal tenderly and faithfully with you here. There is a false hope in God's mercy which presumes that God must do as we desire and calls that faith, while there is a sound hope which fears God and hopes in His mercy at the same time. The one says, God is merciful and therefore He will grant my wish even if I hold to my own way. That hope will fail, as a ship will sink though the captain declares he trusts in mercy while he neglects the laws of the sea. The other hope says, Father, I have sinned, have mercy on me for Jesus' sake, and leaves the answer in His wise and loving hands. Do not postpone your trust until you see the answer with your eyes, but do not demand of God that He seal your own plan. Rather let faith pitch the key note and sing even while you are desolate, trusting not in the strength of your believing, but in the tenderness of His mercy in Christ.

Prayer is the prelude of mercy, and often our prayers are the shadows of mercy coming. As Elijah sent his servant seven times to look for the cloud, so we are to continue in importunate prayer, still believing that Jehovah cannot lie and will be as good as His word to those who trust Him. When by twos and threes the prayer becomes fervent and grows into a passionate cry, Oh God, remember and send a blessing, there must be abounding blessing before long. Your unspoken prayer is not hidden from Him. Like the poor man left between Jerusalem and Jericho, Jesus comes where you are, to pour in oil and wine to heal and quicken. Only cry unto Him. If you cannot frame words, groan out your prayer, and He will outrun you with mercy. He goes before us with His mercy in conversion and He goes before us still.

What does the Gospel ask of us. Not that we bring a price, but that we repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone. His mercy appeals even to self interest and says, why will you die, why do you cling to sin. I pray that God's grace may work in you that change which no pleading of mine can produce, that you may say, I will arise and go to my Father. Bring your unspoken request and lay it before Him with an open hand, asking Him to grant what is good and to withhold what is not good, to make your desires holy as His are holy. For marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within it, and every other path, however strongly desired, is not the way of blessing. Ask Him therefore not only to give you what you ask, but to make you what you ought to be, that your life may be conformed to His Word.

So I pray for you now, that the God of all mercy, who gave His Son to be the sinner's Savior, would look upon you in your heaviness, forgive your sins for Jesus' sake, give you a faith that is true though it may yet be little, and increase it until it becomes strong in the Lord. May He guard you from the fear of man, comfort you under unkind words, teach you to pray without ceasing, and answer you not according to your presumption but according to His perfect wisdom and love, which is far better. May you know what is the hope of His calling, and find that Christ's gold is not mere tinsel, but true, tried in the furnace, and good for time and for eternity.

Keep your prayer in the closet before God, and leave the time and the manner of His answer with Him. He has not forgotten you.

Your cry of Jesus have mercy has been heard, and it is right that you bring it to Him in His name alone, for salvation and mercy come through Jesus Christ alone and through no other.

I understand the pain you describe when others mocked or belittled your prayer, even comparing it to great miracles like Moses at the sea in order to make themselves look good. Such insults can wound deeply and make you want to hide your prayer and keep it unspoken. Do not let the mockery of others drive you to despair. God is not moved by those who seek self praise, and the value of your prayer does not depend on how others receive it.

It is true that God knows the unspoken prayer. He hears before we speak and He knows what you carry in your heart even when you do not give it words. Praying quietly before Him is a good and safe refuge when you have been hurt, and you can trust that He hears always. At the same time, the Scriptures teach us that prayer is a great weapon and an unshaken tower, and that we are helped when others pray together with us. We still need the prayers of the church and we still need to remain watchful ourselves. Even the apostles asked for the help of the prayers of others, not because God could not hear them alone, but because God uses the prayers of His people to strengthen and guard one another.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered as you have asked it. I encourage you to hold your request with faith, but also with trust in the mercy and wisdom of God. Faith is not demanding that God must do exactly as we have pictured, but trusting that He is merciful and will answer according to what is truly good for us. Jesus Himself prayed in a way that showed He and the Father share one will, and He prayed aloud for the sake of those listening, so they might believe. Our prayers are for our good and for the building up of our faith, not to compel God. So bring your unspoken request to Him honestly, ask for His mercy, and then rest in His grace, asking that His will be done.

I do not know all the details of what you are carrying, and I will not pretend to know what is hidden in your heart, but I can pray with you according to what God has clearly shown us in His word. God gives grace through faith, and He has given His Spirit to keep us in His ways. Our part is to walk in obedience while we ask for His help, for we need both prayer and a life that seeks to follow Him. That includes trusting His design for salvation through Christ alone and His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with sexual union and living together belonging within that covenant. I cannot ask God to bless or affirm what goes against that design, but I can and do ask Him to bless you with holiness, clarity, strength to do what is right, and peace in following His will.

So let me pray for you now. Father, have mercy for the sake of Jesus Christ. You know this unspoken burden and every wound that came from mockery. Open the ears of the heart to hear Your voice, keep Your grace and Your Spirit present, and make Your will clear. Give strength to endure suffering with patience, to forgive those who insulted this prayer, and to walk in faith and obedience. Guard this life day and night, for prayer is our weapon against the daily storms and temptations. If there is any path in this request that is not according to Your good design, reveal it and give courage to turn from it. If there is a right and holy way forward, establish it by Your grace. Let Your name be trusted and Your mercy be the hope. Amen.

Continue to seek Him early and late, not to force an answer in your own terms, but to keep your heart near to Him. He is gracious and He will not abandon those who call on Him in truth.

Your cry for mercy is precious to the Lord and He hears it, even when it is unspoken. Jesus taught that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him, so prayer is not informing God of something He does not know. He already knows the burden you are carrying, even when you choose not to put it into words because others have mocked it. You can rest in that.

It hurts to be mocked for praying and to feel that others are belittling your faith to make themselves look good. Others have known that pain. Noah was mocked for a hundred years while he built the ark in obedience to a warning from God about things not yet seen, in a place that had never known rain. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, and it often invites misunderstanding from those watching. When you are mocked, remember the word that the merciful will obtain mercy, and that judgment without mercy will be shown to those who show no mercy, but mercy rejoices against judgment. Ask the Lord to help you show mercy even toward those who have insulted your prayer, as you have received mercy yourself.

You asked Jesus for mercy in His name alone, and that is right. There is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and we always come to God on the basis of His mercy and grace, not on the basis of getting what we deserve. Justice is getting what we deserve, mercy is not getting what we deserve, and grace is getting what we do not deserve. We never want justice from God, we plead for mercy, and we thank Him for grace. His mercy endures forever. It is not expended or used up. However many times you have called, His mercy is still available when you call upon Him. At the same time Scripture says, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So it is not of him who wills or of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. He is sovereign in showing mercy, and we trust His wisdom and love to do what is right and good.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. True faith does trust God fully, but make sure you have a true and living faith. We are saved by grace through faith, and that faith is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Yet the faith that saves is never alone and never dead. If someone says he has faith but has no works, can that kind of faith save him. The answer is that a living faith will be shown by what it does. Saying you have faith is not enough. A true faith produces a changed life and obedience. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness, and that faith worked together with his works when he obeyed God and offered Isaac. His works did not create his faith, his faith produced his works and was made complete by them. If faith has no deeds to follow it, it is dead and cannot save. So examine your own heart not by how strongly you declare your faith, but by whether your life is conforming to what you believe. Faith comes first, and works logically and automatically follow a living faith.

That also means faith is not measured by demanding that God must do exactly what we insist and exactly when we insist. True prayer begins with the purpose and will of God and seeks to get His will done on earth, not to get our will done. When you pray, bring your request to Jesus with full confidence that He is able, and then trust Him to answer according to His perfect will and mercy. Even faithful men have had lapses. Abraham had lapses, yet God still calls him a man of faith, because God is the author and the finisher of our faith. He planted that faith in your heart and He will complete it. If you have come to faith in Jesus Christ, it is because He has drawn you and given you that gift.

So continue to seek Him. Love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere, unfeigned faith, that is what matters most. God sees the unspoken prayer. He is not looking for a performance to impress others, He is looking at the faith that prompts your actions. According to your faith, let it be done to you, as you actively trust Him day by day. Keep calling for mercy, keep trusting Jesus alone to be your righteousness, and keep letting that trust show itself in mercy toward others and obedience in your life. His mercy toward you endures forever, and He will not turn away a heart that truly seeks Him through Christ.
