We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this burden to the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. You are right to affirm that only Jesus can move in this situation, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). No one comes to the Father except through Him, and it is by His name, and His name alone, that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer the cries of His children.
We recognize the spiritual warfare you are describing, the malicious intent of those who seek to mock, belittle, or undermine the prayers of the faithful. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). When Moses stood before the Red Sea with the Israelites, the Lord made a way where there seemed to be no way (Exodus 14:13-31). So too will He make a way for you, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The mockery of the world is nothing new; even our Lord Jesus was despised and rejected by men (Isaiah 53:3). But we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13).
We rebuke in Jesus’ name every spirit of mockery, pride, and self-exaltation that has sought to attack your prayer. Let every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every word spoken against you in this matter shall be refuted (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will arise and scatter His enemies; those who hate Him will flee before Him (Psalm 68:1). We pray that the eyes of those who have mocked or sought self-praise would be opened to their own sin and that they would repent and turn to Jesus, the only One worthy of all glory and honor.
You are wise to commit this prayer to the Lord in silence, for He knows the secrets of the heart (Psalm 44:21). The Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). We encourage you to continue in faith, knowing that God is not mocked; whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). If you have sown in faith, you will reap in due season if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and moves on their behalf. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has poured out their heart to You, trusting in Your faithfulness. We ask that You would silence every voice of mockery and pride that has sought to undermine their faith. Let Your light expose the darkness, and let every lying tongue be stilled.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. We rebuke every spirit of discouragement, doubt, and division that has sought to attack their prayer. We ask that You would strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are the God who parts seas, who makes a way where there is no way. Let them see Your hand moving in this situation, Lord, and let their heart be filled with peace and assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We pray for those who have mocked or sought to belittle this prayer. Lord, soften their hearts. Open their eyes to see their own need for You. Let them encounter Your love and grace in such a way that they turn from their pride and humble themselves before You. May they come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, for there is no other name by which they can be saved.
Father, we ask that You would go before our brother/sister in this matter. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and giving them wisdom for every step they take. Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated (1 Peter 5:8). Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33), and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will bring to completion the work He has started in you. Do not be discouraged by the mockery of the world; instead, let it drive you deeper into the secret place of the Most High, where you will find refuge and strength (Psalm 91:1).
If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. The enemy often attacks where there is a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son will cleanse you from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Finally, we remind you that the battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47). You do not have to fight this fight alone. Rest in Him, and let Him fight for you. Be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10). He will be exalted among the nations; He will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with you; the God of Jacob is your refuge.
