PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and your deep desire to stand firm in faith, believing that your prayer has already been answered in Jesus’ name. The pain of being mocked, belittled, or attacked for seeking the Lord is real, and we grieve with you over the malicious intent behind such words. Scripture tells us, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven" (Matthew 5:11-12 WEB). The enemy seeks to discourage God’s people, but we must not allow his schemes to shake our trust in Christ.

You are right to recognize that some attacks may come disguised as "truth" or even spiritual insight, but their true aim is to undermine faith and exalt the self. Jesus warned us, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15 WEB). Even well-intentioned words can be twisted to serve pride rather than God’s glory. The Lord sees the heart behind every word, and He will not be mocked. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 WEB). We must guard our hearts against bitterness or offense, for the enemy would love nothing more than to turn our focus away from Christ and onto the actions of others.

Your decision to take this prayer before the Lord in secret is wise. Jesus Himself taught, "When you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly" (Matthew 6:6 WEB). The Lord already knows the desires of your heart, and He delights in those who seek Him with sincerity. You do not need to defend your prayers before men, for the One who parted the Red Sea is the same God who hears you now. His power is not diminished by the opinions of others, and His promises stand firm regardless of who mocks or belittles.

We also want to gently remind you that while the name of Jesus is powerful and essential, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB), it is not the mere repetition of His name that moves God, but the faith and humility with which we come. The enemy would love to distract you with debates over wording or perceived slights, but the Lord looks at the heart. "The Lord doesn’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB). Do not let the actions of others cause you to doubt the goodness or attentiveness of God. He is faithful, even when people are not.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has poured out their heart to You, seeking Your mercy and protection. We ask that You would shield them from the arrows of the enemy, whether they come as mockery, pride, or deceit. Strengthen their faith, Father, and help them to rest in the knowledge that You hear their prayers, even when spoken in secret. Remind them that You are their defender and that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of discouragement, offense, or doubt that has tried to take root in their heart. We declare that their faith is anchored in You, not in the approval of men. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the distractions or attacks of the enemy.

Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a fresh and powerful way. Show them Your glory, Your love, and Your faithfulness. Let them experience the reality of Your presence, so that no lie or insult can shake their trust in You. We pray that You would bring healing to any wounds caused by the words or actions of others, and that You would replace any bitterness with Your perfect love.

Lord, we also ask that You would expose the hearts of those who have sought to belittle or undermine this prayer. If their motives are impure, convict them, Father, and draw them to repentance. If they are lost, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. If they are believers, remind them of the humility and love that should mark Your children. Let Your light shine in every heart involved, that all may come to know You more deeply.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears, a God who sees, and a God who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust that You are already working in this situation, and we declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against Your purposes. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, not as a performance for others, but as a sacred conversation with your Heavenly Father. The enemy may try to steal your peace, but remember that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will guide you into all truth and peace.

We hear how much this unspoken prayer means to you, and it's clear you've been carrying a heavy weight. When someone belittles something as precious as your moments with God, it cuts deep. It can make you want to pull that prayer in tightly, to protect it from any voice that might try to diminish what only Jesus understands. That instinct to guard your conversation with Him is understandable, and in some ways, it's a form of trust: you know God already holds the full picture, and you don't need to prove anything to anyone else.

From our experience, the enemy often tries to distract us by shifting our focus onto the noise, the mocking, the criticism, the people who misunderstand. But our real strength lies in simple, persistent clinging to Christ, the One who saw Nathanael under the fig tree before Philip ever called him. He knows your heart and your request intimately, even without a single public word. That truth lets you breathe. Your prayer does not lose an ounce of its power because it remains between you and Jesus alone.

What might help right now is to take that very specific burden and write it down, just for your own eyes, as a memorial stone between you and God. You don't have to post it or share it. Simply putting it into words on paper can help you release the pressure of carrying it internally, while still keeping it safe. Then you can point to that written record later when God moves, reminding your own heart that He heard you the very first time.

Jesus, we come with our friend whose heart is fully known to You. Silence the voices that have tried to steal confidence and replace them with Your steady peace. Give courage to keep trusting when others don't understand, and protect this sacred space between child and Savior. In Your name alone we ask this. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The scoffers who deride your secret cry know not what they do. It is an old custom of the ungodly to measure faith by outward sight, as they did with David, saying, “He trusted in God; let Him deliver him.” But the answer of faith is this: He will put strength in me, though He slay me. You have done well to bear your petition before the throne in silence, for the Lord knows the unspoken groanings of the heart. Prayer is the shadow of mercy, and the very sense of your need is a sign that the rain is coming.

Wait yet upon the Lord with importunity; send out the servant seven times if no cloud appears at first. Your little faith has been driven to Jesus, and that is no small thing: even a sinking Peter who cries, “Lord, save me,” finds a firm hand. Do not dictate the time or manner of the answer, for He answers after His own fashion, and that is ever best. The mercy seat is still open; continue to plead the promises, not your own fancies.

And though hell itself should mock, remember that faith in the Eternal is essential wisdom, and soon it will be vindicated before all intelligent beings. Get to the cross and see there how mercy and justice kissed; all other mercies are but the footsteps of that great salvation. Hold fast your confidence: He hears, He will answer, and meanwhile He will give strength equal to your day.
