PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and protection in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are right to bring this before the throne of grace, for Scripture assures us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that your prayers are heard and that the enemy’s attempts to mock, belittle, or distract from God’s work will not prevail.

The malicious elements you describe are not unseen by the Lord. The Bible warns us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). But we also know that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The enemy may seek to twist words, sow doubt, or exalt himself, but God’s truth remains unshaken. We rebuke every spirit of mockery, pride, and self-exaltation in Jesus’ name. Let every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned, for the Lord is your defender (Isaiah 54:17).

You are wise to recognize that some prayers must be unspoken, held in the secret place of your heart. Jesus Himself taught, "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly" (Matthew 6:6). The Lord knows the desires of your heart before you even speak them (Psalm 139:4), and He is faithful to answer according to His will.

We also want to gently remind you that while the enemy may seek to distract or discourage, our focus must remain on Christ alone. The apostle Paul wrote, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). The battle is spiritual, and our weapons are not of this world. We must guard our hearts against offense, bitterness, or the temptation to engage in fleshly disputes, for "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You hear the cries of Your children and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, who has come seeking Your mercy and protection. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, shielding them from every malicious word, spirit of mockery, and attempt to discourage or distract. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare that the enemy’s plans to belittle, insult, or exalt himself will not stand. We rebuke every spirit of pride, self-righteousness, and division in Jesus’ name. Let every tongue that rises against Your child be silenced, and let Your truth prevail. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Help them to rest in the knowledge that You see their prayers, even the unspoken ones, and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We pray for those who may have spoken against this prayer, whether out of ignorance, pride, or malice. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You for forgiveness and truth. May they come to know the power of Your name and the humility that comes from walking in Your ways.

Father, we also ask that You would fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in wisdom and discernment. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ. May they experience the fullness of Your love, joy, and peace as they trust in You.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just, and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail, for You are greater than all. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your heart fixed on Christ, and remember that the battle is already won. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe. Walk in the authority and victory that is yours through Jesus Christ, and trust that God is working all things for your good. You are not alone, we stand with you in prayer and in faith.

We're so sorry you've had to carry the weight of feeling your prayer was attacked or belittled. When we pour out our deepest needs to the Lord and then sense others tearing at that sacred place, it cuts deep and makes us want to guard our hearts even more closely. Your instinct to bring this matter quietly before God, trusting that He already knows the exact request without another word being spoken, is actually a profound act of faith. He sees what no one else sees, and He cherishes your trust.

The most personal ache in your note seems not just the original need, but the sting of those interactions, the feeling that someone used your vulnerability as a stage for their own ego. We ache with you over that. The safest refuge for a wounded heart is often a silent one, held only before the face of Jesus. He isn't confused by the noise others bring, and His mercy doesn't depend on our ability to articulate the perfect prayer. We can rest in what Romans 8:26 describes, the Spirit interceding for us with groanings too deep for words.

Let's lift that quiet place to Him now:

Jesus, there is a need here that words haven't captured, but You know it completely. We lift our friend to You, the specific burden, the weariness from spiritual attack, the longing for a breakthrough only You can bring. Shield this heart from discouragement. Let mercy pour into the places others have wounded. Anchor this one in the truth that no insult can block Your hand or diminish Your love. Grant peace and a steady confidence that You have heard, You are moving, and the answer belongs to You. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Sometimes they scoff at faith itself; they count it a folly of weak minds, and insult over one particular Christian’s faith. Yet whatever happens, if your faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, you shall hold on to your trust in God. Let neither the mockery of men nor the silence of heaven cause you to waver. Continue to trust Him, and the longer your faith is tried, it shall be with you as when the ship is longest out at sea, it goes to the richest climes and comes home with the heaviest and most precious freight.

You have resolved to make this an unspoken prayer, and well you may, for the Lord knows the mind of the Spirit. Sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God. Even little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. O little faith, you are great at pleading in prayer! Perhaps your very weakness drives you more often to your knees. I love to feel that the Holy Spirit is the Creator, not of the littleness of our faith, but of our faith, be it ever so little.

The answer shall come at the right time, punctually at the very tick of the clock of wisdom, not before nor after. Meanwhile, you must believe that the prayer is heard. What is faith? Leaning on Christ, saying, “This is truth, I trust myself to Him.” Trust Jesus Christ just as you are, without those feelings you have supposed to be necessary. Now by faith the Son embrace, plead His promise, trust His grace. If you trust Him, He cannot refuse to save you. He cannot refuse.

Be not surprised if the answer comes after God’s fashion, not your own. Jacob’s prayer was answered, but not in the way he expected; yet he did get his prayer answered. Go and plead it, and the Lord do unto you according to your faith. Continue much in prayer, even when you do not get the blessing in it. Follow up your prayer by the effort, knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Prayer is the sinew of God; it moves His arm. And while you never cease from your trust, nor from your prayer, grow more earnest in both. The Lord will put strength in you. He will not plead against you with His great power; He will put strength in you.

The cry for mercy is a weapon that never returns empty when it is launched from a heart that knows its own need. The blind men shouted nothing but “Have mercy on us,” and their sight was restored; they brought no eloquence, only pain and trust. You have done likewise, and now you face mockers who sneer at your faith. Let me remind you of the Red Sea: the people believed and prayed, and their hope trampled upon human reasoning. Was Moses’ outstretched hand a ridiculous thing to the eyes of the Egyptians? Yet the waters divided. Do not be troubled by those who use a sliver of truth to season their poison. Such attacks often come not to correct but to win praise for the attacker, and God sees the heart. You have chosen to keep your prayer unspoken, and this is good when surrounded by scorn, for your Father who sees in secret knows what you need before you ask.

But take care that your silence does not become a withdrawal from the fight. Prayer is a great weapon, but it must be paired with a watchful life. Rise early and pray by night, then go out into the daily tempest armed with both faith and works. If you desire mercy, you must show mercy, even to those who insult your prayer. The Lord’s own words bind your forgiveness to your forgiveness: if you hold onto the memory of their mockery, how can you ask God to release you from your debts? Do not say, “I have no need of others’ prayers,” or “I need only my own.” Paul and Peter did not say such things, though they were great. Yet know also that the prayers of the saints cannot replace your own vigilance; even Noah and Job could not deliver their children when wickedness abounded. You must be on the alert, walking worthily of the mercy you seek.

Above all, do not imagine that Jesus requires a public spectacle or many words to hear you. He gave thanks before Lazarus came forth not because He lacked power, but to show that He and the Father are one and that He hears always those who approach in faith. Your unspoken cry reaches His heart without delay. The only hindrance now is if you let the scoffers steal your confidence or if you neglect the deeds that make prayer effectual. Believe that your prayer is already answered, not because you feel it, but because God is faithful. The sea did not part when the people finished praying; it parted when they stepped forward. Step forward now, forgiving, trusting, and doing good, and you will see the deliverance of the Lord.
