PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace, where Jesus Christ alone reigns as our Mediator and Advocate. You are right to affirm that it is only in His name that we have access to the Father, for Scripture declares, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). No other name under heaven is given by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His blood alone that we are cleansed and made righteous.

The opposition you describe, mockery, belittling, and malicious intent, is not uncommon when one stands for truth in a world that often rejects it. Jesus Himself warned, "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you" (John 15:18). Yet we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to discourage, distract, and divide, but we stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

We rebuke in Jesus’ name every spirit of ridicule, pride, and self-exaltation that has sought to undermine your faith. Let every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17), and let the mouths of those who speak with malice be stopped (Psalm 63:11). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every word spoken against you will be refuted by the truth of God’s Word (Isaiah 54:17).

You are wise to recognize that some prayers are best kept between you and the Lord, for He sees the heart and knows its deepest longings. "But when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly" (Matthew 6:6). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not moved by the opinions of men but by the sincerity of a contrite heart.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, even when those cries are unspoken. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see the burdens they carry and the attacks they endure. We ask that You would shield their heart from discouragement and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of mockery, pride, and division that has sought to undermine this prayer. Let Your truth prevail, and let every lying tongue be silenced. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and we stand on Your promise that You will fight for them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it (Romans 8:28).

We ask that You would reveal Your will in this situation, whatever it may be. If there are areas where repentance is needed, bring them to light with Your gentle conviction. If there are steps of obedience You are calling them to take, make those steps clear. And if this prayer is aligned with Your perfect will, we ask that You would answer it in a way that brings glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for those who have spoken against this prayer. Soften their hearts, Father, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from pride to humility, from mockery to reverence. May they come to know You as their Savior and Lord, if they do not already.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that they are perfect. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in confidence, knowing that You are with them always.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, even when the enemy seeks to distract or discourage you. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Stand firm in your faith, and do not be shaken by the opinions or actions of others. The Lord is your strength and your shield, and those who trust in Him will not be put to shame (Psalm 25:3).

If there is a specific request or burden you are carrying that you would like to share more openly, we are here to pray with you and offer biblical counsel. But if the Lord has called you to keep this between you and Him, we honor that and trust that He will move mightily on your behalf. Either way, know that you are not alone. The body of Christ stands with you, and our prayers are with you.

We hear the ache in your words, the sense of having something precious held out before the Lord, only to feel mocked or misunderstood. That weighs heavy, and we're sorry you've had to carry that alone.

What stands out to us is your raw, determined insistence that mercy is real and that your prayer is already held by Jesus. That kind of faith is not small. It reminds us that sometimes the most sacred prayers are the ones we cannot speak aloud, not because God needs to be convinced, but because our hearts are safest when they rest silently in His knowing. You are not shouting into a void. The Lord who saw Nathanael under the fig tree, who knew the thoughts of the woman at the well, who heard Moses' wordless cry at the Red Sea before a single wave shifted, that same Lord sees the unspoken prayer you are clinging to right now.

We will not try to unpack what others may have said or what their motives were. Instead, can we offer this gentle nudge: protect your prayer from the noise. The enemy will always try to surround a genuine cry of faith with accusation, confusion, or humiliation, not because the prayer is weak, but because it is a threat. When that happens, we have learned to quietly draw the prayer deeper into the shelter of Christ, exactly as you have begun to do. You do not need to defend it publicly. You do not need to perform for anyone. A single, silent "Jesus, You know" carries all the weight heaven needs.

We are praying for you now, for peace that calms the internal storm, for a quiet confidence that lets you rest in what you've entrusted to God, and for Christ's tender protection over the very thing you have laid before Him. You are not alone in this quiet space of waiting faith.

Lord Jesus, You see the hidden places of this heart. You know the prayer that has been entrusted to You and the hurt that has come from feeling trampled. Quiet every accusing voice, silence every lie, and let this one feel the steady strength of Your mercy holding them close. Renew their hope. Give them the peace of leaving this fully in Your hands. In Your strong name, we pray. Amen.

The cry of your heart has ascended to the throne, and it is well that you have resolved to keep your prayer between yourself and the Lord who sees in secret. There are those who mock at faith, and you have felt the sting of their scorn. Be not surprised, for it is written, “He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.” Mockery is the old weapon of the enemy, and it often comes from those nearest to us. But let not their buffeting weaken your grasp. Your faith, though tested, is the work of the Holy Spirit, and He who began it will sustain it. You say you must believe your prayer is already answered. That is the very essence of victorious faith: to grasp the promise before the mercy appears. Remember, prayer is the shadow of coming blessings. The torrents of rain were the offspring of Elijah’s faith and prayer; he sent his servant seven times to look for the cloud, because he believed it would come. Even so, your prayer, though unspoken now, is not unheard. God knows your secret groaning; He understands the mind of the Spirit in your wordless petitions.

Let no man’s ridicule cause you to doubt. Faith’s foes may dwell in the same house, but faith itself is the victory that overcomes the world. I charge you, do not leave the Mercy Seat. If your heart is heavy, pray until liberty comes. The Lord never mocks His children; He does not set open the door of mercy intending to shut it in the sinner’s face. He hears, and He will answer at the right time, at the very tick of the clock of wisdom. Meantime, let your trust be more resolved than ever, and your cry more vehement, even if it be silent. A prayer that is too deep for words is often the most effectual fervent prayer. Go your way in peace; believe that the mercy is on its way, and in God’s good hour you shall see it, and rejoice.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry for mercy is never in vain when it rises from a heart that has first learned to show mercy. You call upon Jesus alone, and that is well, for He is the only physician of our souls. But understand this: faith that is hidden in the silent chamber of the heart is often more precious than the loudest proclamation before men. When you say, "I must believe my prayer has already been answered," you speak the language of the Canaanite woman who would not let go until she received her request. Yet see that your confidence is not presumption but the full assurance of faith, a faith that does not waver even when mockers rise against it.

You speak of malicious elements belittling your prayer, even comparing your hope to Moses opening the Red Sea, only to make a jest of it. Do not be troubled. The crossing of that sea was itself an act of faith, not of sight. They prayed, they believed, and the waters parted. The world always despises what it cannot reason away. Those who exalt themselves by tearing down the prayers of others are like the Pharisees who sounded a trumpet before their alms; they have their reward in full, but from men, not from God. Let them be. Your prayer, when it retreats into the inner room of your soul, spoken only to the One who sees in secret, becomes a fragrant offering that no mocking tongue can defile. God knows the unspoken groanings of the heart, and the Spirit intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.

But do not think that faith alone is sufficient without works that prove it genuine. You cry for mercy, but have you extended mercy to those who wronged you by their insults? The merciful obtain mercy. If you want the Lord to bless you, bless others first. Examine your own life; go over your sins specifically, not parading them before others, but revealing them to God alone with a true heart. Then your prayer will have wings. And when you pray, do not be like the doubter who says there is a resurrection for some but not for others; believe with the same certainty as if you already saw the answer with your eyes. This is the faith that makes the unseen real.

Persevere. Do not allow your early fervor to cool after one or two earnest prayers, as if you had already fulfilled everything. The runner who falters at the last lap loses the whole race. And remember the simplicity of children, whose prayers the Church puts forward because they reflect the kingdom of heaven. Approach God not with a multitude of clever words, but with that childlike trust. If you hold fast to this, you shall see greater things than you imagine. The Lord did not stop at the fig tree with Nathanael, and He will not stop at your present trial. Only believe, and you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.
