We hear your cry for mercy and protection in the name of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our Lord hears the prayers of His children. You are right to bring this before the throne of grace, for Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." The enemy seeks to discourage, distract, and divide through mockery and malice, but we rebuke those spirits of division and pride in Jesus’ name. The Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We also affirm that prayer need not always be spoken aloud to be heard by God. In Matthew 6:6, Jesus teaches, "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." The Holy Spirit intercedes for us even when words fail (Romans 8:26), and God knows the deepest cries of your heart before you utter them.
However, we must gently address the mention of comparing this situation to Moses parting the Red Sea. While God is indeed mighty to deliver, we must be cautious not to elevate our circumstances, or the attacks against us, to a level that could unintentionally shift focus away from Christ’s sufficiency. Our faith must rest in Him alone, not in dramatic comparisons that may distract from His sovereignty. In 2 Corinthians 10:5, we are called to "take every thought captive to obey Christ," ensuring our perspective aligns with His truth.
We also note your emphasis on praying only in Jesus’ name. This is biblically sound, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His blood alone that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20). We rejoice that you recognize this truth!
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection over their heart, mind, and spirit. Lord, You see the malicious intent of those who seek to belittle and discourage, and we rebuke every spirit of pride, mockery, and division in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against Your child prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). When the enemy whispers doubt or fear, let them hear Your still, small voice saying, ‘I am with you always’ (Matthew 28:20). Guard their heart from bitterness or self-righteousness, and fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for those who have mocked or insulted this prayer. Soften their hearts, reveal Your truth to them, and draw them to repentance. Let them see that their words were not against flesh and blood, but against You (Acts 5:39), and may they turn to You in humility.
Finally, Father, we declare that this prayer has been heard, for You are faithful to Your promises. We thank You for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. May our brother/sister walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their Defender. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen."
We encourage you to stand firm in the assurance that God is your shield (Psalm 3:3) and that no attack of the enemy can prevail against His purposes for you. Continue to seek Him in secret, trusting that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). If these attacks persist, consider whether there are areas where the enemy may be gaining a foothold, perhaps in pride, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin, and surrender them to the Lord. The armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) is your protection, and the name of Jesus is your authority.
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, united in Christ, and declare that the victory is already won!
