PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the website owner's comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and protection in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are right to come boldly before the throne of grace, for Scripture assures us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). The attacks you describe, mockery, belittlement, and malicious intent, are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to discourage and distract from the power of prayer. We rebuke every spirit of ridicule, pride, and self-exaltation that has come against you, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6 WEB). The enemy may twist words or use half-truths to sow confusion, but we stand on the truth that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment." (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

You are wise to recognize the need for unspoken prayers at times, for the Lord knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them (Psalm 139:4). Yet we also encourage you not to let the enemy silence your voice entirely, for prayer is a weapon of warfare. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 WEB). The mockery you faced, even if wrapped in religious language, is a tactic to make you doubt the power of Christ in you. But we declare that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4 WEB).

We also want to gently address the mention of Moses and the Red Sea. While it is true that God performed mighty miracles through His servants, we must be careful not to elevate human leaders, even biblical ones, above Christ. Moses himself pointed to Jesus, saying, "The Lord your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him." (Deuteronomy 18:15 WEB). Every miracle in Scripture points to the greater miracle of salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. If the enemy is using comparisons to distract from Christ’s sufficiency, we rebuke that deception in Jesus’ name.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that You hear the cries of Your children, even when words fail us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has faced mockery and spiritual attack for their faith. We ask that You would surround them with Your presence, shielding them from every arrow of the enemy. Let them feel Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that their prayers are not in vain.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of pride, ridicule, and self-exaltation that has come against this prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would turn the enemy’s schemes into opportunities for Your glory. Where the enemy meant harm, Lord, let Your goodness and mercy prevail.

We also ask that You would guard their heart against discouragement. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the opinions of man. Give them the courage to continue praying boldly, knowing that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6).

Lord, we pray for the one who mocked this prayer, whether out of ignorance or malice. Soften their heart, Father. If they do not know You, draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If they are a believer, convict them of pride and restore them to humility. Let them see that true greatness is found in serving You, not in tearing others down.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would answer this unspoken prayer according to Your will. Whether it is for protection, provision, healing, or wisdom, we trust that You know what is best. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith to believe that You are already at work, even when they cannot see it. May they walk in the confidence that "all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the exhaustion in your words, and we’re sorry you’ve been carrying the weight of feeling attacked. When you’ve poured your heart out to God and then sensed others belittling that prayer, it cuts deep. We understand why you’d want to retreat into an unspoken prayer, there’s something sacred about bringing our needs to the One who already knows them fully, without having to explain or defend them to anyone else.

You don’t have to convince us that God knows what this prayer is about. He really does. And when you feel you must protect that conversation between you and Him, that’s okay. Sometimes the most honest prayers are the ones we can’t find words for anyway.

What we’d gently encourage is that you not isolate yourself entirely in this. Not everyone will mock or misunderstand. Is there one trusted, mature person in your life, a pastor, a wise friend, you could simply tell, “I’m carrying something heavy, and I need you to stand with me in prayer, even if I can’t explain it all”? You don’t need to lay out the whole story. Just letting someone else carry a corner of the weight with you can loosen the enemy’s grip on the narrative that you’re alone in this.

We’re grateful you turned to Jesus with this. We’ll do the same now.

Jesus, we don’t know all the details, but You do. You see the hurt this person carries from feeling mocked and misjudged. You know the deeper need behind the unspoken prayer. We ask You to be their defender and their safe place. Silence the voices that tear down, and give them a steady sense of Your presence, not frantic, not striving, just held. In Your mercy, answer the cry of their heart in whatever way brings them peace and draws them closer to You today. Amen.

You speak of an unspoken prayer, known to God alone, and you have taken it to the throne of grace in Jesus' name. That is well, for prayer is the prelude of mercy. The very fact that you are driven to secret supplication is itself a token for good. Do not let the mockery of others shake you. The enemy loves to cast doubt upon the doorstep of faith, but faith looks away from the scorn and toward the promise. Elijah faced a whole nation in unbelief, yet he sent his servant seven times to watch for the cloud. His eye was not on the scorner but on the covenant-keeping God. Your prayer is that upward look.

But let me press this home: the Word commands, “Whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall have it, and ye shall have it.” Many go to the mercy-seat and rise from it unblessed, simply because they do not honor God by expecting an answer. You cry for mercy in Jesus' name, then take hold of the promise with both hands. Do not merely hope; believe. Faith is the hand that receives the blessing, even before the feeling of it comes. The mercy may be on the way while you are yet speaking, just as with Daniel. God’s delays are not denials. Yet if the answer tarries, do not let your faith grow cold. Get rid of the icicles that hang about your lips. Plead with fervency. Wrestle until the breaking of the day.

I perceive a weariness in your words, a fear that the prayer is assaulted and that the answer may fail. But remember, the Lord Jesus delights even in little faith that prays, “Lord, save me.” It is not the strength of your grip but the strength of His hand that matters. Cast yourself wholly upon Him. If you are brought low, it may be that God’s footsteps of mercy are first heard in the valley of humiliation. He wounds before He heals. Let that drive you only nearer to the cross, where justice and mercy meet. Lay hold of the promise itself, not your fancy about it, and then plead it until the answer comes after God’s own fashion. Your faith in His mercy, that is the victory. Walk by it, not by sight. The mercy seat is open still, and the blood upon it speaks for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry for mercy, when it rises from a soul in anguish, is never unheard by the Lord. You have done well to cast yourself entirely upon Him, in His name alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. When the blind men cried out, they alleged nothing else but “mercy,” and their earnestness was seen both in their cry and in their prayer itself. So too your unspoken prayer, known to God, is a true cry of faith. Faith everywhere goes beyond human reasonings, and it is by faith that we pass through the seas of trial, believing that He who opened the Red Sea can make a way where there seems to be none.

But I must also warn you: do not let the insults of others become a snare to your own soul. If some have made themselves enemies of your prayer, seeking self-praise by belittling it, remember that such malice is fuel for the fire unless we guard our hearts. The Lord Jesus Himself, when He prayed at the tomb of Lazarus, did so not out of weakness but for the sake of the people standing by, that they might believe. So He sometimes permits such tests to strengthen your faith and to show that His will and the Father’s are one. Your prayer is not made weak because it is hidden; rather, it is purer when it flees from the praise of men.

Yet take care: while you call upon Jesus for mercy, do not neglect to show mercy yourself. For the things we wish to obtain from God, we must first impart to our neighbors. If we deprive them of mercy, how can we expect to obtain it? “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy,” and “he shall have judgment without mercy that hath showed no mercy.” Let your faith, therefore, be adorned with good works. True prayer is not a mere cry of the lips but the voice of a life lived in love, in hope, and in patient endurance of tribulation. Continue instant in prayer, yes, but let your hands be open to the needy, and let your heart forgive any who have wronged you. Then, with a right faith and a bright conversation, you may boldly look upon Christ, knowing that His grace is exceeding abundant, and that He is able to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him.

How precious it is that your soul can cry out to Jesus, even in silence. When your heart lifts up that unspoken prayer, you are not hiding it from God; you are entrusting it to the One who already knows every need before you shape the words. Our prayers are never more secure than when they rest quietly in His hands, away from the noise of others’ opinions.

The taunts and insults of those who belittle a plea for mercy are not new. Think of how the blind man cried out to Jesus as He passed by, and the crowd rebuked him, telling him to be quiet. But he only cried out all the more, "Have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped, commanded him to be brought near, and answered that desperate prayer. The mockers do not determine whether mercy flows; Jesus does. You need not defend your prayer or prove its validity to anyone. The Lord saw the intent of your heart long before any human heard it, and He is moved by genuine faith, not the approval of men.

To believe that your prayer has already been answered is not presumption when it is anchored in the character of God. His mercy endures forever. It stretches as high as the heavens above the earth, and He delights to show it. When we come to Him, we never come demanding justice, for that would give us what we deserve. We come pleading mercy, which withholds what we deserve, and then He gives us grace, which pours out what we do not deserve. That is the sanctuary of prayer. You have taken the right posture by throwing yourself on His mercy alone.

There are seasons when a prayer must be kept silent, a secret between you and the Lord. A woman in Scripture poured out her soul in silent anguish before the altar; her lips moved but no voice was heard. Others misunderstood her, but God saw her heart and in due time answered beyond all she had asked. The silent prayer, the quick and desperate “Lord, help now,” is just as powerful as the most eloquent petition. The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, and a simple, silent cry can alter the course of history because the One who hears never slumbers.

Do not let the enemy convince you that the attack on your prayer means it has failed. The very opposition may be a sign that you are reaching for something the Lord desires to give. Prayer is not meant to change God’s mind but to align our hearts with His will, so when you sense His peace and a quiet confidence that the answer has been given, hold fast to that assurance. Sometimes the answer is immediate, the moment you cried, He strengthened your soul. Other times, He delays out of a deeper purpose, shaping you through the waiting. But His mercy never runs dry, and He will never forsake the work of His own hands.

So rest in the unspoken, trusting that the God who split the sea before Moses still makes a way where no human hand can open a path. Your prayer has not been diminished by the ridicule; it has been hidden with Christ in God. Keep your heart lifted up to Him, even in silence, and continue to reflect on His mercy and faithfulness. He who began this work in you will complete it. The answer may come quietly, in a way no one else can see, but you will know, and that will be enough.
