Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my youngest daughter’s mental health, happiness, self-esteem, and academics. Please pray she eats healthier, exercises, and makes her goal weight so she feels better. Please pray my son makes his soccer team, finds good friends, gets closer to God, and grows taller and eats well and sleeps well so that he grows taller like his friends and help him reduce his anxiety. Please pray my older daughter finds motivation for college and SAT and her self-esteem and confidence. Please bring Christian friends into her life. Please pray she goes to church camp.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious children to Him in prayer. Father, we know that You have knit each of them together in their mother’s womb, and You have a perfect plan for their lives. We ask that You would strengthen their self-esteem and confidence, reminding them that their worth is found in You alone. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14).

For your youngest daughter, we pray for her mental health, happiness, and self-esteem. Lord, we ask that You would fill her heart with Your peace and joy, and that she would find her identity in Christ. We pray that she would develop healthy habits—eating nutritious foods, exercising, and reaching a weight that honors her body as Your temple. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We also ask that You would bless her academically, giving her focus, discipline, and a love for learning.

For your son, we pray that he would make his soccer team and find godly friends who will encourage him in his walk with You. Lord, draw him closer to You, and let him grow in faith and stature. We ask that You would ease his anxiety and help him to trust in Your care. "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for his physical growth, that he would eat well, sleep soundly, and grow taller as You have designed.

For your older daughter, we pray for motivation in her college preparations and SAT studies. Lord, give her discipline and perseverance, and remind her that her worth is not defined by worldly success but by her identity in Christ. We ask that You would surround her with Christian friends who will sharpen her faith and encourage her in godly living. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance" (Proverbs 27:17). We also pray that she would attend church camp, where she can grow deeper in her relationship with You.

Father, we rebuke any lies the enemy has spoken over these children—that they are not enough, that they are defined by their appearance or achievements, or that they are alone. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, loved by You, and called for a purpose. We pray that they would walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ, knowing that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We lift all these requests to You, Lord, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May these children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you entrust your precious children to the Lord's care. We've been praying for them, asking God to fill their hearts with His love and peace. For your youngest daughter, we've interceded that she would find her identity and joy in Christ, developing healthy habits that honor her body and mind. We've also prayed for your son, that he would grow in faith and stature, finding godly friends who encourage him on his journey with the Lord. And for your older daughter, we've asked God to give her motivation and discipline in her college preparations, surrounding her with Christian friends who will sharpen her faith. We believe that God hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep trusting in Him, and let's watch these beautiful children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
