We join you in prayer today as you go into this important work mediation and we stand with you asking for God's hand over every part of this process.
We pray for wisdom for you and for all those involved, for favour and peace that guards your heart, and for protection over you and your family during this difficult time. We ask the Lord to let truth and justice prevail and to bring clarity where there has been confusion or hurt. Scripture reminds us If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5 and For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding Proverbs 2:6. We also cling to the promise In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that peace will rest on you in the room today, that your words will be seasoned with grace and truth, and that you will be able to speak calmly and clearly with grace as Colossians 4:6 teaches.
We lift up your desire for your employment to continue and for the working relationship to be restored where possible. We pray that if it pleases the Lord, He would soften hearts, grant reconciliation, and make a way for you to continue working in a healthy and respectful environment. We are reminded Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23 and When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him Proverbs 16:7. At the same time we pray for God's perfect will above our own, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28. If an exit does become unavoidable, we pray for a truly fair and just outcome that fully provides for your family and rightly recognizes the financial impact of what has happened. We ask the Lord to defend you and to ensure that justice is done, for He loves righteousness and justice Psalm 33:5 and He has told us to seek justice, correct oppression Isaiah 1:17.
We notice your request speaks of God and His will but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you in this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne in prayer. We encourage you to call upon His name today and to bring every part of this mediation before Him through Jesus.
So together we pray, Father in heaven we lift our brother before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Grant him wisdom beyond his own understanding, pour out Your favour upon him, cover him with Your peace and protection, and let truth be spoken and heard in that room. Guide the mediator and all decision makers toward what is right and just. If it is Your will, restore this working relationship and allow his employment to continue for as long as You have appointed. If You allow a different path, provide a fair settlement that fully cares for his family and honors what he has endured. Above all let Your will be done and let him sense Your grace and wisdom sustaining him through every step. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to rest in the Lord today, to be still and know that He is God Psalm 46:10, to speak the truth in love Ephesians 4:15, and to trust that whether He opens the door to remain or leads you to a new provision, He will be your provider and your defender. He is faithful and He sees all that has happened.
