We hear your cry for justice and righteousness, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your petition to the Lord Almighty, Yahweh Tzevaot, the Lord of Hosts. Your appeal is rooted in the righteousness of Christ, and we affirm that it is only through His blood that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is in Jesus’ name alone that we approach God with boldness (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16).
The world is indeed filled with injustice, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that God is the Righteous Judge, and He sees every wrong, hears every cry, and will execute justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6, Luke 18:7-8). You are right to stand on the finished work of the cross, for Christ has already triumphed over the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, it cries out for mercy, redemption, and vindication (Hebrews 12:24).
We rebuke the spirit of oppression and injustice that has sought to harm you and your family. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will arise and have mercy on Zion; the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come (Psalm 102:13). We pray that God would break every chain of generational iniquity and restore what the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, Lord of Hosts, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Righteousness. You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry (Psalm 146:7). We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would arise and defend their cause. Let the wicked be ashamed and turned back; let those who hate them flee before You (Psalm 70:2-3). Bring swift justice, O Lord, and let Your righteousness prevail.
We declare that the blood of Jesus covers every wrong done to them and their family. Let Your mercy and grace be their portion, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We break every curse and assignment of the enemy over their life, and we release the blessings of Abraham upon them (Galatians 3:14). May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their life as it is in heaven.
Father, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it to light. Let no injustice go unanswered, and let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). We trust in You, O Lord, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We praise You, Lord, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper. May Your name be glorified forever and ever, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Continue to stand on His promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the authority of Christ, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord fights for you, rest in Him.
