Please help me get into the school I want

We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in bringing it before the Father. We understand the disappointment and anxiety of feeling that you chose the wrong school and now time is running out to correct it, and we want to lift up both your desire and your trust in God's perfect plan.

We are reminded that God cares about every detail of our lives, including where we study, and He calls us to trust Him rather than be consumed with worry. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Even when we feel we have made a wrong choice, God is still sovereign and He can redeem our steps. Proverbs 16:9 says A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. And Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears our prayers. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the desire to be admitted to this school and the regret over the earlier choice, and You know the timing that seems so late. We ask for Your will to be done above all else. If it is Your will and for their good, we ask that You would open the door for this late admission and move in the hearts of those who make the decision. If this is not Your best path, we ask that You would close the door clearly and give peace about where You have placed them. Grant wisdom as James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Give calmness to an anxious heart and help them to rest in Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Help them to be faithful and diligent wherever You lead them to study, to use their education for Your glory, and to grow in character and faith through this process. We pray that they would seek You first and trust Your guidance. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to do what is in your hands to do with diligence and honesty, to contact the admissions office respectfully, to complete every requirement, and then to entrust the outcome to the Lord. Whether He opens this door or keeps you where you are, know that He can use either place to shape you, to teach you, and to prepare you for the good works He has for you. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and let His peace guard your heart as you wait.

We can hear how much this school matters to you, and how stressful it feels to think you may have missed your chance. Wanting to fix a decision you regret while the clock is ticking is a heavy place to be, and we are holding that with you in prayer.

While you wait to hear about the late admission, one steady step you can take is to reach out directly and kindly to the admissions office if you have not already. A brief, respectful call or email explaining that you realize you made the wrong choice, asking clearly what the late admission process allows and whether any additional materials would help, shows responsibility and keeps the door open. It also helps to let a trusted counselor, teacher, or parent know, so you have support and a clear backup plan no matter what answer comes.

We are trusting God with you for wisdom and peace in this waiting, knowing He sees both your hopes and your future.

Father, we lift this student to You and ask for Your peace in this uncertainty. Give clarity to those reviewing the application and wisdom for next steps. Lead toward the place where growth and purpose can unfold, and help our friend rest in Your care whatever the outcome. In Jesus name, amen.

Your anxious request concerning your schooling has been brought before the Lord, and we have pleaded for you at the throne of grace.

You feel that you have chosen amiss and that the time is now past, so that you are ready to say there is no hope. Yet remember that though there is no hope in yourself, there is hope in Him whom God has provided. The gate which seems shut to you is not shut to Him, and He who opens and no man shuts can yet make a way where you see none.

At the same time we would have you learn the holy art of waiting for the Lord. It is written, Blessed are all they that wait for Him. To wait upon God is not to wait in despair nor in mere hesitation, but in a joyous and assured hope that He is even now performing all things for you, working out your lasting good by everything that transpires around you. You are in a fidget and flutter about this matter, and in such a state we are apt to mistake our right hand for our left. Be not so anxious. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

We have prayed that if it be consistent with His wise and good will, He would incline the hearts of those who govern this admission and grant you entrance to the school you now desire, though your application be late. And we have prayed also that if in His better wisdom He keeps you where you are, He would make that place fruitful for you, and teach you to serve Him with earnestness there. For no man is doing too much for Jesus when he does all with a sincere heart unto the Lord, wherever his lot is cast.

Cast your care upon Him, continue in prayer, do with diligence what lies before you to do, and leave the issue with your Father in heaven. May He give you peace in the waiting, and may He order your steps according to His perfect counsel, that whether by granting or by withholding, you may see His hand and praise Him for His goodness.

We commend you to His keeping, beseeching Him to renew your heart by grace and to keep you trusting in Christ alone for all things. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request about the school you desire has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.

It is painful to feel that you have made the wrong choice and that time may have run out to correct it. That sorrow and regret you feel is understandable. Scripture speaks of a sorrow that God can use for good, a godly sorrow that leads to wisdom and growth and does not leave us in despair. Even when we regret a decision, God is able to bring fruit from it and to lead us forward in a way that is for our good.

I pray that God, in His mercy and wisdom, will open the door for your late admission if it is according to His good will for your life, and that He will give favor with those who make the decision. I also pray that He will give you peace and clarity as you wait, and trust to accept His provision whatever the outcome, knowing that He guides His people and works all things for their good.

May the Lord grant you wisdom in this season, calm your anxiety, and help you to see His hand leading you. If this school is the right place for you, may He make a way where it seems there is no way. If He has another path for you, may He make that clear and give you contentment and purpose where you are.

We ask the Father to direct your steps, to strengthen your heart, and to help you rest in His care and providence.

I know that nothing beats the power of prayer. I am asking that my school gets paperwork on time in order for me to begin my next class. It may seem simple, but it is very important that I start my class on time. Please pray that God work a miracle on my behalf and I’m able to begin on time.
