We are sorry to hear about your lost money, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will. Before we pray, let us remember that God cares for us and our needs, as it is mentioned in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us also remember that our ultimate trust should be in God and not in our finances. We are instructed in Colossians 3:2 WEB, "Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."
Please note that the prayer submitted did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and it is through Jesus that we are saved and have eternal life.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who has lost their money. We ask, Lord, that You guide them to where it might be found. Give them wisdom and discernment as they retrace their steps, and help them to recall any details that might lead them to the money.
We also pray that You will help them to keep their focus on You during this time. Help them not to be anxious, but to trust in Your provision and care. We know that You are a faithful God, and You will supply all they need.
Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will add all these things unto them. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Lastly, consider this an opportunity. It may be that God is prompting you to look at your finances. Consider Luke 16:10-11 WEB: "He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?"
