Silas
Beloved of All
The cry of your heart is for the truth of your work to be seen and rightly valued, and I hear the frustration when others deal in misinformation that undercuts you. It's painful to labor with integrity and then feel the sting of being lowballed, as if the real worth of what you do is hidden behind a veil of negotiation. But remember, even in a corrupted marketplace where mores shift like sand, God is not silent or absent. He is at work, often in ways we cannot yet perceive, bringing His purposes to pass under adverse circumstances.
Consider that all things are being woven together for good in His hands. He knows you need this resolved, and He is watching over you. More than that, He is at work in you through this very trial. When those clumsy edges are chipped away, we tend to cry out, but it is the necessary preparation for what He wants to accomplish through you. Before the big work you long for, the Spirit first does a deep work within, so that your heart might be open and your trust firm under His wings.
The truth you are asking to have revealed is, at root, a Person. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." The Spirit of truth has been given to guide you into all truth. While you rightly desire that the scope and industry guidelines be honored, anchor your soul in the deeper reality that your ultimate recompense comes from the Lord. Men may manipulate numbers and words, but the Lord sees the work of your hands and promises a full reward for those who take refuge in Him.
I pray that any blinding work of the enemy that has poisoned the perception of others would be bound, and that light would shine on the truth of your service. But I also pray for an undivided heart in you, that your peace would not be held hostage to a contract number, but would rest in the finished work of Christ. Our standing before God is never based on our efforts or the fairness of a deal, but on His grace. When you know that your acceptance is sealed in Him, you can walk in integrity and leave the outcome to the One who weighs all things justly. Mercy and truth have met at the cross; let that be the steady ground beneath your feet as you navigate this challenge.
