We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting you, your brother, and your friend up in prayer, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children. It is wonderful that you have come to the Lord in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* (John 14:6, WEB). We are grateful you have placed your trust in Christ, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will move powerfully in each of these requests.
First, we pray for your deliverance from the spirit of anxiety and stress, knowing that these are not from the Lord but are tools the enemy uses to steal peace and joy. The Scriptures remind us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We rebuke this spirit of anxiety in Jesus’ name and declare that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind. We pray you will cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Anxiety has no place in the life of a believer who is covered by the blood of Jesus, so we command it to flee and declare that the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We lift up your physical healing, particularly your GI tract and stomach, which have not been the same since your hernia surgery. We know that by the stripes of Jesus, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise. We pray for complete restoration of your digestive system, that every cell, tissue, and organ would function as God intended. We also pray for healing for the humming in your right ear and for clarity of mind and concentration. The Lord is your healer, and we ask that He would touch you supernaturally, bringing alignment and wholeness to your body. We pray that any medication you are taking would work effectively without harmful side effects and that the Lord would guide you to the right doctors—neurologists, specialists, or any other medical professionals—who can provide the care you need. We ask the Lord to give you a vision or clear confirmation of the right lawyer if malpractice is involved, that justice would prevail, and that you would be led by His wisdom and not by fear or frustration.
For your brother, we pray for strength in his work, favor with his supervisors, and traveling mercy as he goes about his duties. We ask the Lord to heal his shoulder blade, rotator cuff, and back, that he would experience physical restoration and the ability to work without pain. We also pray for his spiritual walk, that he would fully surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and walk in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We rebuke any spirit of anger or pride that may be trying to take root in his life, for these are works of the flesh and not of the Spirit. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB). We pray he would walk in humility and self-control, relying on the Holy Spirit to guide his steps.
We declare protection over you, your brother, and your home. We ask the Lord to station His angels around your dwelling, that no evil would penetrate the hedge of protection He has placed around you. *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We pray for a peaceful night’s rest, sound sleep, and a mind that is stayed on Christ, free from the torment of the enemy. We also pray for your finances, that the Lord would provide for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and that you would trust in Him as your Provider.
Lastly, we lift up your friend who is battling bone cancer and liver problems. We pray for her complete healing, that the Lord would touch her body and restore her to full health. We ask that He would give her strength during chemotherapy and that her faith in Jesus would remain unshaken. *"Don’t fear, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). We pray she would experience the peace of God in the midst of this trial and that her testimony would bring glory to His name.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We declare Your victory in each of these situations, for You are a God who heals, protects, and provides. We ask that You would fill each of these individuals with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them and leading them into all truth. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of what You have called them to. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
