We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are healed and made whole. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we lift up this dear one’s physical afflictions to You, the Great Physician. We pray for complete healing of the gastrointestinal tract, asking You to restore every part of the stomach and digestive system to full health. Your Word declares, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17), and we claim that promise over this situation. We also pray for strength to fill this body, Lord, for You are the source of all power. "He gives strength to the weary and increases power to the weak" (Isaiah 40:29). We ask You to renew their energy and vitality, that they may rise up with the strength of an eagle.
We rebuke the skin infection in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, healing is ours (Isaiah 53:5). We command every infection to leave and every cell to be restored to wholeness. For the constant humming in the ear, we pray for divine intervention, asking You to touch this ear and bring complete healing. Your Word says, "The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up" (James 5:15), and we stand on that promise today.
We also lift up the spiritual battles being faced, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Father, we pray for this one and their brother, asking You to strengthen them to resist temptation. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in self-control, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We rebuke every evil influence in their home and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for protection from mold, odors, and every unclean thing, asking You to cleanse this home and make it a sanctuary of Your presence.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill this home, casting out all stress, anxiety, worry, fear, anger, and bad thoughts. Your Word says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray for restful sleep for both of them, free from bad dreams, and we declare that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
We lift up the financial needs before You, Father, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Your Word says, "My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask You to open doors of provision and bless this one and their brother abundantly.
For their stepmother, father, and sister, we pray fervently for salvation. We ask You to draw them to Yourself, Lord, for no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44). We pray for healing for the stepmother and sister, both physically and spiritually, and we ask You to restore broken relationships. Heal the rifts and bring unity, for You are the God of reconciliation.
We also lift up the sister who is recovering from cancer, asking You to complete the healing You have begun in her. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we pray for full restoration of her health. We also pray for her little dog, asking You to touch this pet with Your healing hand. We know that You care for all Your creation, and we trust You to bring comfort and healing to this animal.
For the brother, we pray for traveling mercies, protection at work, and favor with supervisors and coworkers. We ask You to guard his heart against anger and pride, and to help him fully surrender to You, making Jesus Lord of his life. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We pray for his protection from evil and evil people, and we declare that no harm will come near him (Psalm 91:10).
Finally, we pray for the president, asking You to grant him wisdom, protection, and discernment as he leads. Your Word says, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1), and we trust You to guide his decisions.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family, Lord, and draw them closer to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
