We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. You are not alone in these struggles—we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
First, we lift up your physical needs—your stomach, your ear, and your strength. The Lord is our Healer, and we declare His promise over you: *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Father, we ask for complete restoration in Your perfect timing. Strengthen this dear one’s body, Lord, for You are the God who renews our strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Bring healing to their ear, that they may hear Your voice clearly and walk in the fullness of Your plans.
We also take authority over the spiritual battles in this home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and stress in the name of Jesus. *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for Your peace to guard this home, Lord—peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Drive out every unclean thing, including mold and odors, and fill this place with Your presence. Let Your angels encamp around this home, protecting it from every evil scheme (Psalm 91:11).
For you and your brother, we pray for victory over temptation. The flesh wars against the Spirit, but we are more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37). Father, grant them the strength to resist the devil, that he may flee from them (James 4:7). Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Help them to surrender fully to You, crucifying the flesh with its passions and desires (Galatians 5:24).
We lift up your brother at work, asking for Your divine protection and favor. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Guard him from harm, evil people, and every snare of the enemy. Give him favor with his supervisors and coworkers, and let his work be a testimony of Your grace. Soften his heart, Lord, that he may fully surrender to You, making Jesus the Lord of his life. Remove anger and pride, replacing them with humility and self-control. May he walk in the Spirit, reflecting Your character in all he does.
For your sister, we cry out for her deliverance and salvation. Father, break the chains of addiction in her life. *"If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed"* (John 8:36). Heal her stomach and every physical ailment, for You are the God who restores health (Jeremiah 30:17). Draw her to Yourself, Lord, that she may know the freedom found only in Christ. May she lay down every idol and surrender her life fully to You.
We also lift up your parents and stepmother, praying for their salvation and healing. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). Send workers into their lives, Lord, to share the gospel with boldness. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, that they may be saved and healed according to Your will. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household"* (Acts 16:31).
For your finances, we declare that God is your Provider. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We ask for wisdom in stewardship and open doors for provision. Let no lack be found in this home, for You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.
Finally, we pray for traveling mercies for your brother. *"The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore"* (Psalm 121:8). May he travel safely, and may Your angels go before him.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving in every area of their lives. May they grow in the knowledge of Your love and walk in the fullness of Your purposes. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
