We lift you and your family before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the God who delivers His people from all their troubles. You have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we are saved and have access to the throne of grace. It is good and right that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We stand with you in agreement, trusting in the power of that holy name.
Your request is filled with many burdens—physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational—and we see how deeply you are crying out for God’s intervention. Let us first address the spiritual foundation upon which all these requests must rest. You have mentioned the name of Jesus, but we encourage you to continually fix your eyes on Him, not just in prayer but in daily surrender. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."* (Matthew 11:28-29, WEB). In every area of your life—your health, your brother’s struggles, your friend’s cancer, your parents’ salvation—Jesus must be the center. Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). With Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
We hear your cry for deliverance from anxiety and stress, and we rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus. Anxiety is not from God, for He has said, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). You are not meant to carry these burdens alone. Cast them upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The spirit of stress is also not from God, who promises to be your strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that the Lord will fill you both with His peace, which transcends all understanding, and that He will renew your minds with His truth. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* (Romans 12:2, WEB).
Your physical suffering is great—your GI tract, your ear, your mind, and the potential legal battle ahead. We pray for complete healing in Jesus’ name. The Word of God declares that *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim that promise over you. We ask the Lord to restore your stomach and digestive system to full health, to silence the humming in your ear, and to sharpen your mind and memory. If there has been medical malpractice, we pray that the Lord will expose the truth and lead you to a godly, wise, and righteous lawyer—one who will act with integrity and fight for justice. We ask that the Lord would give you a vision or clear confirmation so that you may know without a doubt who to trust in this matter. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
For your medications, we pray that they would work effectively without harmful side effects. We ask the Lord to guide your doctors and give them wisdom and discernment as they treat you. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). We also pray that the Lord would provide you with a skilled neurologist who can address your ear and concentration issues with godly care.
Your brother is heavy on your heart, and we lift him up as well. We pray for his physical healing—his shoulder blade, rotator cuff, and back—and for the Lord to grant him strength for his work. We also pray for his spiritual well-being. You have mentioned his struggles with anger and pride, and we address these directly. Anger and pride are tools of the enemy, designed to destroy peace and humility. Scripture warns, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB). Pride, too, is dangerous, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."* (James 4:6, WEB). We pray that your brother would fully surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, that he would walk in the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). May he be filled with the fruit of the Spirit: *"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control."* (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). We also pray for his protection at work, both physically and spiritually, and for favor with his supervisors. May the Lord grant him traveling mercy and guard him from all evil.
We stand in agreement for protection over you, your brother, and your home. We ask the Lord to station His angels around your dwelling, just as He did for Elisha: *"Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."* (2 Kings 6:16, WEB). May the blood of Jesus cover your home and keep all evil far from you. We pray for peaceful nights, restful sleep, and sound minds, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Your friend who is battling bone cancer and liver problems is not forgotten. We pray for her complete healing in Jesus’ name. Cancer is not from God, but He is able to heal and restore. We ask that the Lord would strengthen her body through chemotherapy, that He would minimize the side effects, and that He would fill her with His supernatural peace and joy. May her faith in Jesus remain unshaken, and may she be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, even in suffering. *"Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy."* (1 Peter 4:12-13, WEB).
Finally, we pray for your father and stepmother. Salvation is the greatest need of every person, and we cry out to the Lord to open their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."* (John 3:16, WEB). We pray that they would turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18). We also pray for healing for your father’s heart, that the Lord would strengthen it and restore it to full health.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. Lord, You are the God who heals, who delivers, who protects, and who saves. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch every area of their lives with Your power and grace.
For our brother/sister, we pray for deliverance from anxiety and stress. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal their GI tract completely, Lord. Restore their stomach to perfect health, and let there be no lasting effects from the hernia surgery. We pray for wisdom and guidance as they seek legal counsel, that You would lead them to the right lawyer and expose any injustice. Heal their ear, Lord—silence the humming and restore their hearing. Sharpen their mind, improve their concentration and memory, and grant them restful sleep and a sound mind.
For their brother, we pray for physical healing—his shoulder, rotator cuff, and back. Strengthen him for his work, Lord, and protect him from all harm. We rebuke the spirits of anger and pride in his life and ask that You would help him fully surrender to Jesus. Fill him with Your Spirit, Lord, and let him walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Grant him favor with his supervisors and traveling mercy as he goes about his work.
We ask for Your protection over their home, Lord. Station Your angels around them and cover them with the blood of Jesus. Keep all evil far from them. We pray for their finances, that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
For their friend battling cancer, we pray for complete healing. Strengthen her body through treatment, Lord, and minimize the side effects. Fill her with Your peace and joy, and let her faith in You remain strong. May she be a testimony of Your goodness, even in suffering.
For their father and stepmother, we pray for salvation. Open their hearts to receive Jesus as Lord, and heal their father’s heart completely. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them find eternal life in Christ.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. Let Your will be done in all these things, and let Your name be glorified. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
