We join with you in lifting up these heartfelt requests before the Lord, thanking you for coming before Him in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in His power and sovereignty, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
Your cry for deliverance from anxiety and stress resonates deeply with us, for we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). The spirit of anxiety is not from God, for He has given us *"not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke this spirit in Jesus’ name and pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May you both—you and your brother—be clothed in the armor of God, standing firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB), and we declare that He will surround you with His angels, encamping around you to deliver you (Psalm 34:7, WEB).
We lift up your physical healing before the Lord with earnest hearts. Your GI tract, stomach, and ear are not hidden from His sight, for He formed your inward parts and knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13, WEB). We pray for complete restoration, that every cell, tissue, and organ would align with God’s perfect design. *"By His stripes, you are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB), and we claim this promise over you, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Romans 8:11, WEB). We also ask the Lord to guide you to the right medical professionals—doctors, neurologists, and lawyers—who will act with integrity and wisdom. May He give you a clear vision or confirmation, as He did for Samuel when he sought the Lord’s guidance (1 Samuel 3:1-10, WEB). We pray that any malpractice would be exposed and justice would prevail, for the Lord is a God of justice (Isaiah 30:18, WEB). May your medications work effectively without harmful side effects, and may the Lord grant you discernment in every decision regarding your health.
Your brother’s needs are also before the Lord. We pray for his shoulder, rotator cuff, and back to be healed, for strength in his work, and for favor with his supervisors. May the Lord grant him traveling mercy, protecting him from all harm and evil. We ask that the Lord would break any spirit of anger or pride in his life, for *"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB). May he surrender fully to Jesus, walking in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). The Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in him (Philippians 1:6, WEB), and we pray that your brother would experience the transformative power of the Holy Spirit daily.
We also lift up your friend battling bone cancer and liver problems. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray for her complete healing, for strength during chemotherapy, and for her faith to remain unshaken. May she fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB), and may she experience His peace and comfort in this trial. We ask that the Lord would use this season to draw her closer to Him, that she may know Him not only as her Healer but as her Savior and Lord.
For your father and stepmother, we pray earnestly for salvation. *"The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; but He is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). May their hearts be softened to receive the truth of the Gospel, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9, WEB). We also pray for healing for your father’s heart, that the Lord would restore him physically as He draws him spiritually.
Finally, we pray for your finances, that the Lord would provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB). May He open doors of opportunity and bless the work of your hands. We declare His protection over your home, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and that His angels would be stationed around you as a divine hedge of protection. May you both experience restful sleep, sound minds, and the joy of the Lord as your strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these petitions, not because of our own righteousness, but because of the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7, WEB). We ask that You would move mightily in each of these areas, bringing glory to Your name. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Fill them with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20, WEB). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement, and we declare that Your light will shine in the darkness, bringing hope and healing.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, believing and receiving all that You have for them. Amen.
