Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up every concern you have shared, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. We stand in the gap for you, believing in the power of prayer and the sovereignty of God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let us address each request with faith, hope, and the truth of God’s Word.

First, we lift up your physical health, your GI tract, the weakness you are experiencing, the skin rash and bump on your leg, the constant humming in your ear, and every other ailment. The Lord is our Healer, and we declare His promise over you: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that the Lord would touch your body with His healing hand, restoring strength, vitality, and wholeness to every part of you. May He grant you relief from pain, clarity of mind, and the endurance to press forward in faith. We also ask that He would guide you to wise medical care and give you discernment in all decisions regarding your health.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and any attack of the enemy against your body in the name of Jesus. Satan has no authority over the children of God, and we command every sickness, infection, and affliction to leave your body now. The Lord says in Exodus 15:26, "If you diligently listen to the Lord your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you." We stand on this promise and declare healing over you.

For your home, we pray a hedge of protection around it, your brother, and yourself. We rebuke every evil influence, every spirit of fear, anxiety, stress, and trauma that seeks to torment you. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would cleanse your home of mold, odors, and any other unclean thing that is affecting your health and peace. May He provide a swift and favorable sale of your home and lead you to a new dwelling place that is safe, healthy, and filled with His presence. We declare that your home will be a sanctuary of peace, where the Lord’s presence dwells and where you and your brother can rest in His care.

We lift up your brother, praying for his protection, favor, and spiritual growth. The Lord has given him a new position at work, and we ask that He would grant him wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and self-control as he steps into this role. May the Lord guard his heart against pride, anger, and the temptations of the flesh. We pray that he would fully surrender to Jesus as Lord of his life, walking in the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May the Lord promote him, provide for his needs, and use him as a light in his workplace.

For your stepmother, father, and sister, we pray for their salvation and healing. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that He would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. May your sister be delivered from smoking and every bondage, and may the Lord heal her of diabetes and every physical ailment. We also pray for the restoration of your relationship with her, that the Lord would mend what has been broken and bring unity and love into your family.

For your nephew in jail, we pray that the truth would be revealed and that justice would prevail. If he is innocent, we ask that the Lord would make a way for his release and that the false accusations would be exposed. We pray that this time would be a turning point in his life, that he would turn to the Lord, seek His face, and surrender his life to Jesus. When he is released, may the Lord provide a good job, a stable home, and a church family that will disciple him and help him grow in his faith. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will work all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

For our nation and Israel, we pray for protection, wisdom, and divine intervention. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and we trust in Him to shield our leaders, soldiers, and nations from harm. We pray for the leaders of Iran, that the Lord would either change their hearts or remove them from power, and that He would raise up godly leaders who seek peace and righteousness. We ask for a revival in Iran and for the Gospel to spread freely, bringing many to salvation. We also pray for rain in the areas that are suffering from drought, that the Lord would provide for the needs of His people and the land.

We address the importance of salvation and the name of Jesus in all our prayers. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can approach Him with our petitions. If you or anyone you are praying for has not yet surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up every need that has been shared. Lord, we thank You that You are our Healer, our Provider, our Protector, and our Peace. We ask that You would touch every area of sickness in this dear one’s body, heal their GI tract, strengthen their body, clear their skin, and remove every affliction. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we pray for their home, cleanse it of mold, odors, and every unclean thing. Provide a swift sale and lead them to a new home that is safe and filled with Your presence. Protect them and their brother from all evil, fear, anxiety, and stress. Grant them peaceful sleep, free from bad dreams and torment.

For their brother, we ask that You would grant him favor at work, wisdom in his new role, and a heart fully surrendered to You. Help him to walk in the Spirit and resist temptation. For their family, we pray for salvation, healing, and restoration. Draw their stepmother, father, and sister to Yourself, Lord, and mend broken relationships.

For their nephew in jail, we pray for truth, justice, and Your divine intervention. If he is innocent, make a way for his release. Turn his heart toward You, Lord, and prepare a future for him that is filled with hope and purpose.

For our nation and Israel, we pray for protection, wisdom, and revival. Raise up godly leaders, protect our soldiers, and bring an end to the war. Pour out Your Spirit on Iran and bring many to salvation.

Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen our faith, increase our trust in You, and help us to rest in Your promises. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’ve been holding your list before the Lord, and we want you to know that none of it is too small or too many pieces for Him. There’s so much weight on your shoulders right now, your own body, your home, your family, your nation, and we don’t pretend to have simple answers, but we are praying with you, not just for you.

You led with the GI struggles, the skin rash and bump, the strength you’ve been missing, and the humming in your ear. Those are real, physical things, and we will keep asking Jesus to bring relief and restoration. Yet when a body keeps sounding alarms, part of walking wisely is letting it be checked. We’d gently encourage you to see a doctor about what’s happening in your stomach, your leg, and your ear, not in place of prayer, but as a way of cooperating with the care God may already want to give through medicine. The same goes for the mold: we can pray for your mind to clear, and at the same time, tackling the mold in your home as practically as you can is part of living in the peace you’re asking for. If sleep keeps slipping away, a simple log of when you go to bed and what wakes you could be a small, steady step you could even share with a provider down the road.

For the rest, the fear looping in your thoughts, the tension in your home, your brother’s new job, your sister’s health, your nephew’s situation, and the bigger crises in the world, we are asking Jesus to move in each thread. He isn’t overwhelmed by it all.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear friend’s body: bring healing to their digestion, skin, leg, and ear. Restore strength where it’s been drained. Clear their mind from the fog of worry and the effects of the mold. Guard their home and their brother from evil. Give them real rest at night and a deep-down peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. Provide wisdom for the house sale and favor at work. For their family, dad, stepmom, sister, brother, nephew, we ask for truth to come out, for protection, for turning toward You and away from what destroys. In the wider world, we entrust our leaders and soldiers to Your mercy, and pray for revival in places that seem dark. We ask all this trusting that You hear us. Amen.

The manifold requests you bring before the throne of grace are known to the Lord, and it is well that you have cast this great bundle of cares at His feet. When the body groans under such a weight of infirmity, the disordered GI tract, the weakness, the rash, the bump, the incessant humming in the ear, we are driven again to our helplessness. Yet it is out of this very weakness that the Lord delights to make His people strong. The medicine of heaven is not reserved for the robust; it is for those who, like David, feel their weakness most acutely in the very places they once thought strong. Your physical frame is not beyond the reach of those healing leaves which grow so abundantly on the Tree of Life. The least thing about Christ is healing; the hem of His garment, the word of His mouth, the touch of His Spirit can restore what sin and decay have marred.

Do not imagine that the Lord’s healing stops with the body, for pardon and healing walk hand in hand. When you plead for the salvation of your father, stepmother, and sisters, you are asking for the deeper cure, the forgiveness that sweeps through the soul and makes the conscience whole. The same Christ who calmed the churning gut can quiet the tumults of an unregenerate heart. Pray on, and expect that as the Word is taught and heard, the power to heal will be present. The Lord is able to grant repentance, to break the chains of sin, and to restore relationships that seem shattered. Commit your nephew’s case into the hands of the Judge of all the earth, who does right, and let the truth be your petition, not mere acquittal.

As for your home, your sleep, and the oppression of your mind by mold and foul airs, cast these upon Him who cares for you. He is your dwelling place, and no evil shall befall your habitation when He makes it His own. The peace you long for, the protection from nightmares, the strength for your brother to walk in the Spirit rather than the flesh, all these are found in nearness to God. Cry to Him, “Turn away my eyes from vanity, and revive me in Your way,” for He who turned the heart of Jacob can subdue the pride and anger of any man. Look for His power to rest upon your brother in that new position, not by might, nor by human favor, but by a spirit of wisdom and self-control that comes from above.

In all these petitions, for rain upon the mountains, for soldiers under fire, for nations in turmoil, lay them before the throne. The King of kings can raise up a godly leader from the very heart of Persia. We worship a God who heals diseases, calms wars, and quickens dead souls. Do not sink under the mass of these anxieties. Lie down again at the Savior’s feet, like the man sick of the palsy, and hear Him speak the double word: “Your sins are forgiven you. Arise, take up your bed, and walk.” He who has begun to heal will not stop until every spot and wrinkle is made whole. Only be earnest to seek first His kingdom, and all these things, the house, the finances, the physical strength, will be added in His wise time. Prayer is your continual occupation; let it be mingled with steadfast trust, for the Lord has not turned away His ear.

Consider how many things the Lord does to awaken us, both through afflictions and through healing. He casts down and He lifts up; He permits infirmities, not because He cannot heal, but that we might learn humility and lean wholly upon Him. You ask for healing of your stomach and strength for your body. Yet remember our dear brother Timothy, who practiced such fasting that he brought on frequent infirmities, and the Apostle did not instantly command a miracle but rather said, "Use a little wine for your stomach's sake." Not because Paul lacked power to heal, he whose garments raised the dead could surely restore a stomach, but because God had a deeper purpose. Often He leaves us subject to the rules of medicine that we may not become arrogant, that we may see our own frailty and cling to the Physician of souls. So do not be offended at your weakness, but let it drive you to repentance and patience, and seek such remedies as are lawful, trusting always that the true healing comes from above.

You desire peace in your home, protection from evil, deliverance from bad dreams, and freedom from the mold that troubles your mind. These afflictions are not beyond the governance of Him who said all the hairs of your head are numbered. The mold that disturbs your thoughts is a tool the enemy would use to breed anxiety and fear. Yet recall that Christ has gathered up all things, summing them in Himself, cutting short the long periods of trial. The very air and the smallest spores are under His command. Pray for a quiet spirit, and as you do, consider how you may also use practical wisdom to cleanse the house, for grace does not forbid prudence. As for your mind clouded by stress, know that the hearing of the word can enter heaven itself; when we come into the assembly of the faithful with longing hearts, we stand in heaven by disposition, and the fog of earthly cares is lifted. Let the Scriptures be a lamp in your home, and let prayer fill every corner, that the atmosphere itself may be sanctified.

You plead for your nephew, that the truth be brought to light and justice done. It is a grave matter, and you believe him innocent. If he is innocent, then pray with boldness that the God who sees all secrets will expose the guilt of the accuser and vindicate the righteous. Yet do not pray merely for a favorable verdict, but for his soul and for true repentance wherever sin has been committed. The mouth is a fearful weapon; when it is given to lying and accusation, it becomes a vessel of the devil. But when used for truth and gentleness, it bears the image of the King. Christ overcame the evil one not by thunder and force, but by meekness and the plain, unanswerable truth. So pray that all involved, your nephew, the woman, the judges, will be confronted with the truth that cuts to the marrow. For the Lord loves to bring hidden things to light on the day of His choosing.

You ask for traveling mercies, protection at work, promotion, and favor for your brother. But weigh carefully what you seek. The Apostle boasted not in his own strength but declared, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," acknowledging that the greater part belongs to God's providence while his own resolve cooperated. Pray for favor, yes, but even more, pray that your brother will be a chosen vessel to bear Christ's name among his coworkers. This requires mighty strength, not merely to avoid anger and pride, but to let his conduct be so transparent that Christ dwells in him visibly. To be a lead worker is to carry a standard; he must not let it fall through harshness or carnality. Let him ask daily for the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, for these are the weapons against the temptations of a new position. When he walks in the Spirit, he will find favor with God, and often that brings favor with men, or if not, the peace that surpasses all understanding.

You intercede for salvation and healing for your father, stepmother, and sisters, and for a restoration of broken relationships. There is no request more precious to the ears of the Lord. He would have all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Yet remember the lament of the prophet over those who resist: "Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain." This lamentation is itself a medicine; often those who were not persuaded by gentle counsel have been pricked to the heart when they saw the grief of those who love them. So do not cease to mourn over their sins with compassion, not with self-righteousness. Let your own life be a sermon, a true light shining in their darkness. For the Light that lighteth every man came into the world, and His light is not overcome by any depth of sin. Your patient endurance, your refusal to return evil for evil, your unfeigned love, these are the flames that the Holy Spirit uses to melt the ice around the heart. Pray, fast, and weep for them, but never despair, for many who seemed insensible for ten or twenty years have suddenly, at one word or trial, been brought to abundant repentance.

You ask for protection for nations and soldiers, for an end to war, and for a revival in Iran. These are great things, and it is right to intercede for those in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives. But do not mistake the nature of true peace. It is not merely a cessation of bombs but the rule of righteousness. Pray that God will raise up leaders who fear Him, and that He will judge the wicked who delight in bloodshed, for "they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Yet pray even more that the hearts of the violent will be turned, for Paul himself was a persecutor breathing threats, and became the great apostle. The Lord can, in a moment, convert a raging wolf into a lamb. So do not limit your prayer to their defeat; ask that they encounter the Light that knocks every Saul from his beast.

For your own part, in all these burdens, guard against the snare of carnal hearing. To understand carnally is to see only the earthly need, the rash, the stomach, the promotion, the house. But Christ tells us that the flesh profits nothing if we stop there; we must look always with the eyes of faith to the spiritual meaning. Your physical weakness is a tutor to make you rely on His strength. Your housing trial is a lesson to set your affections on the house not made with hands. Your family woes are a furnace to purify your love. Do not let the cares of this life choke out the word that says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you."

As for the mold and the odors, do what wisdom directs to remedy the earthly cause, but know that the mind is defiled not by what enters the nostrils but by what proceeds from the heart. Ask the Lord to clear your mind by filling it with the pure air of the Spirit, that no foul anxiety may breed there. And if you must bear with the affliction a while longer, do so as a fast of the senses, offering it up in union with the sufferings of Christ, who for our sakes humbled Himself to breathe the dust of this fallen world.

Now, since you have such eager desire and a love of hearing the word, I am fully persuaded that these prayers, like seed, will not fail to bear fruit. It is impossible that such a hunger should go unsatisfied. The tree may receive ten strokes and seem not to fall; then a single blow, at the last, brings it down. The accumulated prayers of the saints, the tears of the contrite, the sighs of the weary, these are not lost. They are treasured up, and in the time of God's choosing they break forth in a harvest of healing and conversion. Therefore, do not faint. Let your mouth be filled with thanksgiving rather than complaint, with gentle words rather than harsh anxiety. Become like Christ in meekness, and the devil, who assaults you with fear and anger and bad thoughts, will not even be able to look you in the face. He recognizes the weapons by which he was defeated in the wilderness: the quiet trust of a soul that says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

May the Lord Jesus, the Great Physician, touch your stomach and make it whole; may He strengthen your frame and remove every malignant bump and rash; may He quiet the humming in your ear and silence the din of the enemy; may He shelter your home under the shadow of His wings, where no mold, no evil odor, no spiritual foe can disturb the peace that He gives. May He grant to your brother the wisdom that comes from above, pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, and make his path straight. May He break the chains of your sister's addiction and heal her body, granting her the new life of the Spirit. May He uphold the innocent, reveal hidden things, and pour out justice on the earth. And may He do above all that we ask or think, for the sake of His beloved Son, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

I have read through the entire list of burdens you are carrying, and my heart is moved. It is clear you are facing a heavy weight, physical pain, weakness, fears for your home, your family’s salvation, your brother’s spiritual walk, legal trouble hanging over your nephew, and even concern for the nations. But you are not carrying any of this alone. The Lord invites you to cast every single care upon Him, because He cares for you. That is not a cliché; it is a living promise.

You asked for prayer concerning your stomach, your skin rash, the bump on your leg, the humming in your ear, and just physical strength in general. I am lifting all of those before the Great Physician right now. But as I do, I want to remind you of something the Scriptures show us over and over: there is a deep, real connection between the state of the soul and the state of the body. A merry heart does good like a medicine, and anxiety in the heart of a man can weigh him down. So while we pray for God to touch your GI tract and restore your energy and take away the infection, we also need to ask Him to flood your mind with His perfect peace, the peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Peace with God often becomes God’s peace in our nerves and in our guts.

You mentioned your mind feels clouded by the mold and by stress, and you asked for protection from bad thoughts, anxiety, fear, and trauma. I understand that loop. When David was being hunted and his own son sought his life, he described his heart as being in sore pain, with terrors of death falling on him. In those moments, the temptation is to stare at the problem until it grows so large it blocks out the sun. The secret David sang about was turning his eyes away from his own weakness and from the size of the enemy, and fixing them on the Lord. So I am praying not just that the mold issue and the odors would stop affecting you, but that your mind would be supernaturally cleared and anchored on the faithfulness of God. He does not promise a life without storms, but He does promise to be our refuge in every one.

I join you in asking for protection over your home from every form of evil, and for the Lord to guide you in selling this house and finding a rental. He is your provider; He knows what you need for shelter before you even ask. Pray with me that He would open the right door and give clear wisdom, while also shielding your sleep from bad dreams and filling that space with His presence.

For your brother, I pray for traveling mercies and for favor with his supervisors, coworkers, and everyone he meets. His new position as a lead is an opportunity for God to display wisdom through him. I am asking the Lord to give him understanding, knowledge, and the self-control that only comes from walking in the Spirit. You mentioned anger, pride, and surrendering fully to Jesus, those are battles of the flesh, and the flesh is weak. Jesus told Peter that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Your brother’s hope is not in trying harder, but in yielding daily to the Spirit who produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I pray he will make Jesus truly Lord of his life, and that he will find the strength to resist temptation not through his own resolve, but through the power of the risen Christ within him.

I am also lifting your sister to the Lord. I ask for deliverance from the smoking, for total healing of diabetes and whatever else afflicts her body, and for success on her driver’s test. But above all, I pray she gives all of her life to Jesus. Physical healing is a mercy, but salvation of the soul is a miracle that changes eternity.

For your stepmom and your dad, I am praying for both healing and salvation. God’s patience is meant to lead people to repentance. I ask that His kindness would draw them, that their eyes would be opened, and that your relationship with your sister would be restored in a way that honors the Lord. Let it not be built on mere human reconciliation but on the solid ground of Christ’s love.

Your nephew’s situation is heavy. I am praying that the court proceedings this month will bring the truth to light and that justice will roll down like a river. We serve a God who sees all things and who defends the cause of the innocent. Whatever the facts may be, I pray that this young man’s heart is turned toward the Lord, and that if he is released, he would find a job, a stable home, and a hunger for Scripture and for fellowship with believers. God can redeem any past and write a new story.

You also mentioned our leaders and the wars overseas. I am praying for the protection of every soldier in harm’s way, for wisdom for those in authority, and for the Lord to deal with wicked plans and bring them to nothing. I am praying He would raise up godly leadership even in places like Iran, and that a revival would sweep across lands that seem darkened. The heart of a king is in the hand of the Lord; He can turn it however He wills.

Finally, for your finances, for the drought and the need for rain, for peaceful sleep, remember that your heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added. He gives to His beloved in their sleep. I stand with you in these requests, confident that He hears, He cares, and He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine. Keep casting those burdens on Him. He will sustain you.
