When you pray in the name of Jesus, something always changes. Of course, "how" you pray in the name of Jesus can make a difference.
Here are some scripture passages about speaking into existence what we want to see manifest.

What is the work of His hands? Sickness and disease? “NO”… It is health, healing, and wholeness, raising the dead, casting out demons. God’s Word tells us to command His works. We are supposed to command His works, healing, into our body and the body of others.
Luke 10:19New King James Version (NKJV)
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus has given us power, according to the Bible passage. What does power look like? Begging and asking? Jesus had power and did not beg and ask God for anything. Jesus gave believers power but it set aside and we beg and plead for the things of God.
When Elijah was living, the rain did not stop until Elijah spoke for the rain to not fall. The rain di not fall again until Elijah spoke for it to start again. Ezekiel was told to speak over the dry bones to come alive again. God told Ezekiel to speak to the bones and the bones would come alive. If Ezekiel had not spoken then the bones would not have come alive. Moses was told to raise his rod before the seas of the Red Sea parted. If Moses had not raised his rod, the seas would not have parted.
Jesus spoke things into existence, He did not ask and beg the Father to do them. Jesus did not ask or beg the Father to multiply the loaves and fishes. He thanked the Father and then blessed the loaves and fishes and they multiplied. Are we expected to do anything less? Jesus gave us His power. He wants us to use it, just like He did.
IN the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God.
