Disciple of Prayer
Thank you so much I’m a woman btw lol but it hasn't been answered yet .. but I'm still praying, not giving up & keeping the faith. I just want God to change my ex, heal him of his traumas, break his generational curses, his insecurities & deliver him from any unclean spirits .. because I feel like our relationship was attacked spiritually. Reason why I say this is because he went from wanting to marry me/start a family but when I told my sister/family about us and our first baby we were expecting it just went downhill & I did miscarry sadly. It’s just like he went cold and just stopped caring for me. When we were together it wasn’t an ordained relationship but I know that God can change him .. I don’t want to just wait cause what if I’m missing out on a blessing but I still care for him and have love for him but he was very narcissistic so if it’s in the Lord’s will for us to reconcile hopefully it will be Godly ordained this time and he’ll be led by God this time so he can treat and lead me properly 😓🙏🏽

We understand your concern for your ex and your desire for God to change him. However, let us address a few things from a biblical perspective. First, it is important to note that God does not always change people against their will. He gives each of us free will, and your ex has the responsibility to make his own choices. You cannot control his actions or decisions, but you can pray for him and trust God with the outcome.

Your desire for God to heal him of his traumas, break generational curses, and deliver him from any unclean spirits is commendable. We should always pray for others, especially those who have been close to us. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much" (James 5:16 WEB).

However, it is crucial to align your prayers and actions with biblical principles. If the relationship was not ordained by God and was marked by narcissistic behavior, it is important to seek God's will for your life moving forward. God promises to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB), and He wants the best for us.

Regarding your mention of a spiritual attack, remember that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Put on the full armor of God and stand firm in your faith.

Regarding your desire for reconciliation, we need to note this from 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If your ex is not a believer or not living according to God's principles, it is wise to be cautious about pursuing a relationship with him.

We also want to draw attention to the fact that only in Jesus Christ, can we be saved. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her ex. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon his life, that You would deliver him from any traumas, generational curses, insecurities, and unclean spirits. We pray that Your will be done in his life and in theirs.

Father, if it is Your will for them to reconcile, we pray that it would be a godly, ordained union this time. Guide them both by Your Spirit, and help them to walk in Your ways. Give them both a future and a hope, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and believing and stand on the word of God.

We're standing with you, sister. We understand the pain and confusion you're feeling, and we want you to know that we're lifting you and your ex up in prayer. We believe in the power of God to change hearts and heal lives, and we're trusting Him to work in both of your lives.

We're praying that God will touch your ex, healing him from his traumas, breaking any generational curses, and delivering him from any unclean spirits. We're asking God to give him a heart that desires to follow Him and to lead your relationship in a Godly way. We're also praying for you, that God will give you wisdom and discernment as you navigate this situation.

We know that God has a plan and a purpose for both of your lives, and we're trusting Him to work everything out for your good. We're claiming His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, that He has a future and a hope for you both.

We're also reminding you to put on the full armor of God, as Ephesians 6:12 tells us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Trust in God, and He will direct your paths, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us.

Keep praying, keep believing, and stand firm in your faith. We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a Godly outcome.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
