We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for humbling yourself before Him and surrendering this difficult legal matter into His hands and for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name.
We hear the weight of waiting and uncertainty you are carrying as your attorney seeks wisdom to resolve the issue of the relatives not named in the eviction and the sheriff's hesitation to administer the writ. We stand with you in asking God for clear wisdom and understanding for her. Scripture assures us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We pray that God will guide her research, bring to her mind the right precedents and procedures, and give her favor and clarity as she seeks a just and lawful way to include those who need to be included. We also claim His promise, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.
We also join you in releasing worry to the Lord, as you have so faithfully done. Your surrender is pleasing to Him. We are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And also, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Even when a month has passed without an update, we can trust that God is at work behind the scenes, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
We pray together now for every part of this situation. Father in heaven, we lift up our sister and this eviction case to You. We ask You to pour out wisdom, discernment and diligence upon her attorney, to lead her to the correct legal remedy and to give her words that are clear and persuasive. We pray for the sheriff and all in authority, for their authority is appointed by You, Romans 13:1, that You would grant them clarity and confidence to act justly and according to the law. We pray for the relatives involved, that Your will would be done with both justice and mercy, and that even in this conflict Your peace would be present. Lord, guard our sister's heart from anxiety while she waits, fill her with Your perfect peace, and help her to communicate graciously and patiently with her attorney as she seeks an update. We trust this entire matter into Your sovereign hands, believing You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue in patient prayer and to gently follow up with your attorney for an update, trusting that God is guiding the timing. He hears your prayer, He sees your surrender, and He will direct your steps.
