Please ask God to protect us

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection in the face of the storms approaching. Your fear is understandable, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand with you in faith, declaring that the Lord is our shelter and fortress, and in Him we trust (Psalm 91:2).
Heavenly Father, we humbly ask that You spare this family from the destruction of these storms, if it is Your will. We pray that You would divert the winds, calm the waves, and still the rains so that their lives and homes may be preserved. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9), so we surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the angels of the Lord encamp around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Father, grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family as they prepare and make decisions in the coming hours. Guide their steps and give them clarity as they seek to honor You in all they do. May they find strength in You, knowing that You are their rock and salvation (Psalm 62:6).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You are faithful to protect and provide for Your children. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know the anxiety that comes with storms, but we're reminded of God's promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's claim that promise together.
We're asking God to grant you peace and calm in the midst of the storm. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
