But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and your fortress.
First, we must address the language used in your request. You refer to your "partner," but Scripture is clear that God’s design for intimacy and commitment is within the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. If you and this person are not married, we urge you to examine your relationship in light of God’s Word. The enemy often attacks most fiercely where there is vulnerability or disobedience, and sexual intimacy outside of marriage is called fornication in Scripture—a sin that opens doors to spiritual oppression (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). May they stand firm in Your truth, clothed in the full armor of God, ready to resist the devil and see him flee (Ephesians 6:11, James 4:7).
